Aqua's POV
After I stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body, I notice a dress with blood red fabric and red lace on the back for the bodice, a flame designed skirt part that fades from red to orange to yellow and lace sleeves that fade from the red to pitch black that stop at my elbows on my bed. I look at the dress for a while just taking in the design of the whole dress. When I turn away from the dress, I also notice a note on the dress. I pick up the note and read it.
I bought this dress for you for the interview. I know you don't like dresses that go farther than half way down your thighs. It took me a while to find a dress like this. I hope you like it. And if you want to, you can add to it.

I've been here for about six months and Jen and Josh already know me so well in about two weeks. Normally it takes one person about two to three months to know me that well. But Jen and Josh are fast learners. I slip the dress on and look in the mirror. I think I could add to it. I pull out a pair of leggings that fade from red at the waist to black at the knees and slip them on under the dress. I pull out a pair of black boots that go half way up my shins. And for the final touch, I find a pair of netting designed gloves. I look in the mirror again and can't help but feel impressed. Now this looks and feels so much better. After I added a few things to my outfit, I put my hair into a French braid. I pack my bag with a book, sketchbook, pencils, headphones and iPod in case I get bored on the way to the interview and hop down the stairs feeling pretty excited for the interview. When I get to the bottom, I find Josh in a black tuxedo and Jen in a very pale pink dress that goes down to her feet. I don't know how she deals with it.
"I knew you would want to add something to the dress," says Jen.
"And it makes the dress look better too. Come on. It's time to go," says Josh as we walk out the door. I start to feel overwhelmed with the limo that waits outside of the house.
"Ready?" asks Jen.
"Ready," I confirm as we step into the limo.
A/N Sorry for the short chapter. What do you think will happen at the interview? What will happen if Nick shows up at the interview? What will his reaction be when he finds out about the adoption? Will he be furious with them? Will he be happy for them? Anyway, I hope you enjoy the book.
