Aqua's POV
After hours of dancing and eating, it was time to go home. I didn't really eat as much as Willow and Amandla because I wasn't very hungry. I just can't keep my .and off of what happened today. First Nick comes to the party uninvited and then this boys tries to flirt with me so he can play me. This is going to be a long night.
"So did you have fun, Aqua?" asks Josh as we are in the limo on our way have.
"It was good. I mean, I bet everyone at school has seen it on T.V. and they are most likely going to use me to become popular because of it," I say as I draw the mockingjay pin bursting into flames. My left hand suddenly is clinging onto the necklace with a mockingmay on in. Only it wasn't entrapped in a ring and it had its wings spread out to the sides like the cover of the book Mockingjay as if it was preparing to fly. It was a gift from Josh. He left a small box on my bedside table this morning while I was in the shower. I was wondering why there was a small box that wasn't there before. That was before I read the tag and opened it and found the mockingjay necklace inside. The cloths was a gift from Jen and the necklace was a gift from Josh. But I guess the only thing I can be thankful for is that they adopted me. I'm not thankful for them just because they're famous for The Hunger Games. I'm thankful for them because they know when something is wrong. Even if I pretend to be fine they will still know I'm lying.
"That's a really cool mockingjay," Jen says as I start ti add the gold colour to the pin.
"Thanks," I say. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head. We can call our band the Magical Mockingjays. Our band involves magic and we are crazy about the hunger games. But Amandla and Willow act in it so of course.
