Jennife's POV

I still can't believe what Aqua did with that slide show. She did something to make it play all over the walls. Aqua has the kind of heart nobody else has. She always goes so far and doesn't think about herself.

"Do you guys want me to teach you how to do archery?" Aqua asks.

"I don't think I need lessons. But maybe Joshy could use some lessons," I say pointing to Josh.

"No, no, oh no no no no no," says Josh waving his hands around.

"Come on, Josh," says Aqua as she pulls Josh out the back door into the backyard. Josh tries to run back inside but Aqua pins him against a tree.

"Jen, hold him down. I'll be right back," says Aqua as she climbs up the tree. What is that girl up to now?

Aqua's POV

I climb up the tree in a branch so Jen and Josh can't see me. I recite the words from my spell book.

Magical earth power of mine
Please, I ask you
Make a long piece of vine

And after I say those words, I make a long piece of vine. I tie the end to the branch closest to to ground. Jen looks up at me. I point to the vine and then down at Josh. Jen nods with a smile and I know she knows what I mean.

"What?" asks Josh as he look up. I hide behind the leaves until I know Josh is not looking. I make sure the vine is secure and keep a tight grip on the free end of it. I jump off the branch and swing the vine around the tree tying Josh in the vine and tree trunk. I get closer to the end of the vine as I keep swinging. I land on the ground when there is only one foot of vine left. I secure the vine and join Jen in a fit of laughter. Jen and I start rolling on the ground still laughing really hard.

"Hey, no fair, Aqua! You used your magic! Okay, guys this is so not funny!" says Josh as he tries to get out of the vine.

"I made it a strong piece of vine, so good luck trying to get out of it," I say.

"If you're teaching me archery, then why am I tied up in a vine?" asks Josh in frustration.

"Because if I go up to my room to get the equipment, how am I supposed to know that you won't chicken out and run away?" I ask.

"I won't chicken out," says Josh.

"If you even think about asking Jen to untie you while I go upstairs, I will do worse. There's more where that vine came from," I say with warning in my voice.

"I can't believe it. I'm being blackmaild by my own daughter," Josh groans. Jen and I start laughing again. I calm down a bit and climb the walls of the house up to my bedroom window.

"Why don't you just go up the stairs?" asks Jen.

"Because this way is faster and more fun," I say. I go through the window and grab my bow and sheath of arrows. Instead of climbing down, I jump. I land on my hands and feet in crouching position. Jen and Josh look at me.

"If you want to call me crazy, go on right ahead. But let's get one thing straight here: I'm a daredevil," I say taking an arrow from the sheath and shooting it a centimeter right above Josh's head.

"What the fuck, Aqua! Are you trying to kill me?" Josh asks.

"That can be arranged," I say aiming another arrow at Josh.

"Woah, woah, woah! That's not what I meant!" says Josh as he starts to panic. I lower my arrow and burst with laughter. I make the vine around Josh disappear. He runs up to Jen and hides behind her.

"First you get blackmaild by your own daughter, and now you're afraid of her," I say hurt.

"Well my daughter has a weapon in her hands," Josh says. I giggle at his sentence. I take three arrows from the sheath and shoot it at the tree.

"If this was the Hunger Games, I would have probably just killed three people," I say pulling out the arrows I shot at the tree. I try to teach Josh how to do archery but he keeps turning it into a silly game. At the end of the day, I didn't teach Josh anything. But I guess you can say we still had fun as a family.

Josh's POV

Aqua is really feisty. She just tied me up in a vine, blackmaild me and almost killed me. She even climbs up walls and jumps out windows without hurting herself. Aqua was supposed to teach me archery, but I wouldn't cooperate with archery. Each time she was about to shoot the target, I jump in front as she releases the arrow and it middle by an inch. She would start freaking out and screaming at me telling me she could have killed me. I just keep laughing at her because she didn't seem so freaked when she shot that arrow just a centimeter above my head when I was tied up in that vine she made with her powers. And now when I jump in front of the arrows she shoots, she freaks out.

"Why didn't you freak out when you shot the arrow above my head when I was tied up in the vine?" I ask.

"I was teasing you. That's what happens when you turn down my offers," Aqua says sounding innocent. I grab one of her arrows and throw it up high in the sky.

"Hey!" Aqua screams at me.

"Revenge is sweet," I chuckle. She recites a few words that I think are words to a spell.

With the earth power of mine,
Grab the arrow with a vine

Aqua makes a vine, throws it up and catches the arrow with it. She pulls the vine which brings the arrow down and she catches it.

"You're getting pretty god at that magic stuff there," says Jen.

"I can't use all the spells in the spell book, unfortunately," says Aqua.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"My spell book is organised in chapters depending on which power it is. In each chapter, there is at least one spell that is the most powerful spell in the chapter. I'm only allowed to used them in emergencies," says Aqua.

"Any other forbidden spells?" asks Jen.

"There is one spell. That spell is completely forbidden. I'm not allowed to use that spell under any circumstances. It's the most powerful spell in the entire spell book. For the spell to work, I have to combine every power I have. I'm not strong enough to handle that power. Once I recite the words, the spell is activated and all my life and strength will be drained, and I'll..." Aqua says but stumbles on her words.

"You'll what?" I ask her.

"I'll...I'll...die," Aqua choked on the words. I freeze and Jen gasps. Aqua would die? She can't die.

"Then, don't use the spell," says Jen.

"I can't make that kind of promise. I'm going to have to use the most powerful world at some point in my life," says Aqua. I let out a sigh. She's right. After talking about Aqua's spell book, it started to get dark, so we all went to bed.
