the sorrow of goodbye
when dreaming.
everything is momentary:
the love you had
before you ever learned
what that means.
the love you had
during the time
when you were longing for it.
the love you had
after it left you
under the rain.
the love you had
when you didn't believe
at it, at all.
everything is momentary:
your seventeenth birthday.
the laughters that made your stomach ache.
your midnight worries.
your fondness of cherries.
the tears you wiped with anguish.
the cries you muffled with difficulty.
the warmth of someone's hand.
the life in someone's eyes.
the glee in someone's voice.
everything is momentary:
you are momentary,
so live.
live in the moment.
