Dear Lily,
"You probably wouldn't understand. It just seems like nothing has been going right for me." You spoke as I asked some of the questions that flooded my mind last night.
"I was in a touring band for a few years." I replied hoping you would understand and not just think I was trying to start a random conversation.
"Big deal," you said "I guess you're official." You sarcastically replied.
You didn't understand.
I only said it cause I know what it's like to feel burnt out, but I didn't tell you that, I just let the conversation go.
