Dear Lily,
The funeral was today.
Who would've known that the day I would finally give you all the letters would be at your funeral?
I can't tell you how much I cried. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to get up and run away.
Your mom and dad walked up to me in tears. Lily, they loved you so much, even if you didn't feel like they did.
They handed me a note and said you wrote it. I haven't read it yet and I'm so terrified to.
I'm no longer writing these for you, I'm writing them for myself.
