This is my second life; I don't remember my first. I no longer remember my name, or my past, but I remember two things.

   First- how I died.

It was a tragic car accident, nothing out of the ordinary. Except, I didn't move at all when I could. It seemed like dodging the car was a too much work at the time.

And the second... is that I'm in a novel world. A novel named 'You're my moon.'

It was only few weeks ago that I remembered all this information, right at the same time. I fell sick for days, only until I comprehended everything.

So, my name is Phoenix Elan in this world. In other words... I'm the villainess.

                                      ...

'Miss Elan, there's a royal ball being held a week from now on,' Sally said with a determined face. Honestly, except Sally I don't remember anyone else's name. It feels too bothersome to memorize everything.

   'So?'

Also after remembering, I became more hard working. If I really have to say, I've become so active lately. For example; I respond when people talk to me, even though I find it very annoying, & wish that they were mute. I also go down to the dining chamber by myself, & eat all by myself. Due to that, I grow really tired everyday. Not to mention, I also dress (the maids dress me) when I need to.

A Royal ball is the perfect example.

'We will do our utmost best to prepare you, miss! Since our lady is already this beautiful, I bet if cared for miss will be the most beautiful in the whole nation!!!' the maid screamed excitedly.

That's not true though. Even though Phoenix, now me, is very beautiful, it was written in the novel that Selene was much, much more. The male lead Ian, Raymond, & the other one, they all liked her.

Raymond, is the villain who kills Phoenix, more to that he tortures her, & mutilates her, just because she spilled a tea on Selene as a prank. Also because she threatened her. (That's the only reason I remember his name) Ian is no better though, he sentences her to death, & sees her love for him as something useless even though she's liked him more than years.

Talking about them, isn't this the day she first meets Ian? On the Royal ball- ah, I remember everything even though my memory seriously sucks...

Well, I guess I do remember things that I like. Following that logic, did I like my death? Even, I don't understand what I'm thinking-

'Young miss, shall we start preparing?' the maid asked with fire burning in her eyes; this... doesn't seem like my typical listless day.

                                          ...

The only pride the Vuinter family had was their child, Ian Vuinter.

Ian was a boy who excelled in everything, even from young age there wasn't a thing he couldn't do; sword fighting, reading advanced books, studying, anything.

However, his family, with only baron's title, was holding back his potentials.

So, they decided that they would use his extraordinary handsome face to catch onto big fishes.

When the day of the Royal ball came, his parents tried their best to find invitation as only Earl, or people with higher title were invited. Somehow, they did manage to find an invitation, & told the young boy; 'Ian, you must have something to hold onto to survive in this High society. So, swallow your pride, & even if you feel its shallow, seduce a noble with high title. Even if they're too old, or too young for you, you must survive.'

The words said to him, caused his inferiority complex towards people with higher titles. These words, made him feel as if those living in High society were all like that; people who only chase after pleasures, people who are shallow, & people who have no pride if it's biting onto a big prey. His parents were asking him to be like them, but he didn't want to do that.

Ian didn't want to be shallow, or pride-less, & pleasure others only to survive- he didn't want to belong there.

But he knew, his parents would give him no choice.
