"SO, HOW MUCH OF A FINDER'S FEE ARE WE TALKING?" Adria asked as she and her friends stepped off the boat that was now docked at the main marina in town. People swarmed the center the Red Cross had set up to help with hurricane relief. Some were there looking for lost items and belongings, some needed food because they had no access to it since most of the stores were closed for repairs, and some were there just to get some rest from the heat near the fans lining the building.

"Like, enough to have us all not work for the summer, if we're lucky." Kiara told her, walking up next to her. Adria was in between Pope and Kiara as the group slowly made their way up to the Red Cross area, JJ and John B leading.

"Well, y'all know what I'm spending my money on once we get this finder's fee." JJ spoke to his friends, now walking backwards.

"Weed." They all said at the same time, and JJ smiled proudly at his friends.

"I've taught you all so well." He told them, to which they all rolled their eyes. Adria walked a little faster to catch up to JJ and John B, placing her hands on JJ shoulder's when she did.

"Will you share that weed you get with me?" She whispered in his ear. She swore she saw goosebumps rise on the back of his neck when she got close to him, but she brushed it off. John B moved over closer to the railing so Adria could stand in between them. As she moved, Adria watched JJ make a thoughtful expression.

"I suppose, but on one condition." He thought, and Adria raised her eyebrows.

"Oh, and what condition is that?" She asked, and he was about to tell her before John B cut them off by beginning to tell them the plan.

"So, JJ, me, and Adria are gonna go in." He told the group, and Adria looked at him with a confused face.

"Why the hell do I have to go in?" She asked, and John B shrugged.

"Because, you're the loudest out of all of us and can get the attention of the guy in there." He pointed to the man behind the desk, who was in a heated discussion with a woman about her dog who needed to be found since he had diabetes.

"Even though that was probably intended as an insult, I'm not taking it as one. Let's go." She sighed, following the two boys. John B went over onto one side of the desk, Adria and JJ on the other side. They did everything they could to get this man's attention, even holding the key up and pretty much dangling it in front of his face. The man eventually turned to them and yelled at them to calm down. The three teens frowned, looking at each other from across the desk. They mutually agreed to leave, but as they were walking out, JJ swiped a pen from the desk. Adria stopped and slapped his hand.

"Put it back, you klepto. People might actually need that." She urged him, and he rolled his eyes, placing the pen back in the cup he got it from. She smiled, grabbing his hand to pull him through the crowd. One, she wanted to hold his hand so he wouldn't steal anything, and two, she didn't want to lose him in the large crowd.
