Cat Noir looked out over the rooftops of Paris. His head rested on his right knee while his other leg hung limply over the edge. A deep frown was on his face.

"Plagg, claws in." His little black kwami appeared at his side.

"Where are we? Do you have any cheese?"

"Here." Adrien pulled a piece of camembert out of his pocket and put it in Plagg's eager hands. His kwami swallowed it whole before frowning. He decided to rest on Adrien's knee, and the boy leaned back on his hands.

"Plagg, Marinette doesn't trust me."

Plagg burped. "Which you?"

"Cat Noir me. Maybe even Adrien me too. I just..." He laid down on the roof. "Why doesn't she trust me? I've always been there for her. I've always backed her up and supported her. I trust her so much, yet she doesn't return an ounce of it." He sighed.

"Maybe she's just used to handling everything on her own."

"I help her every time though!" Adrien protested.

"You do what she tells you to, but you've never had to handle anything superbig."

"What about Evilistrator?"

"She helped you as both Marinette and Ladybug."

"Fine." He paused, thinking. "What about Flashback?"

"You had Queen Bee, Carapace, and Tikki helping you."

Adrien sighed. "Fine. I get it. Cat Noir is a sideline character while Ladybug is the star. Great to be me."

Plagg frowned. "Cat Noir is as important as Ladybug, maybe even more! We have the power to gobble down powerful cheeses! Some people can't even look at camembert, let alone smell it, without vomiting."

Adrien smiled. "You're right. We just haven't had a moment to shine yet."

"We do shine; it's just that no one ever sees it."

Adrien laughed. "Plagg, you're the best."

Plagg tried and failed to shrug humbly. "Now, do you have some more cheese?"

Adrien stood. "Yeah. Come on, I think it's time to go home anyway. Plagg, claws out!"
