Definition

First before I start I want to explain what little space is. I copied the definition of little space from the internet, but I will explain it a little bit more.

Little space is a mindset in which an adult relaxes into a state of carefree, responsibility-free safety. It may be a developed time in which an adult relives childhood memories, scenarios, or desires that were unachievable in their adolescence. An adult in littlespace may involve another adult referred to as a caregiver, engage in activities viewed as childish, and some may even participate in adult sexual interaction during their time in littlespace. While in littlespace, the adult is usually, but not always, referred to as an adult baby, little, or middle.

So basically you slip into a child like mindset to cope with certain things or because you didn't have a happy childhood. Some people do it just for fun.

Triggers

So many people ask themselves: when does someone slip or what triggers little space?

Everyone is different, but I will list the most common ones and the ones that trigger my little space (underlined)

- stress
- panic attacks
- lots of people
- overwhelming situations
- feeling not in control
- strong emotions (usually negative)

That would be the more "extreme" triggers. But also things like:

- plushies
- cartoons
- cute things
- anything related to children, toddlers, babies...

And words:

- nicknames (If someone say bubba or bub, I immediately slip.)
- cute talking

Age range

Almost every regressor has a little age range. So the ages you slip into. (I will list the different ages in another chapter.)
For example:
My age range is from 6 months - 5 years, but I usually slip from 2-4 years. So basically I'm very smol lol.

Caregivers

A lot of littles have caregivers. People who obviously take care of them. They can be in a relationship or it could be totally platonic. Most of them are SFW while others are not. I will not talk about NSFW in any way in this book.

Well that's it for the first chapter! Feel free to ask any questions!
