The next day I awoke out of my peaceful sleep and soon after dies immediately, when opening the blinds. As I was harshly rubbing my eyes I half-blindly stumbled to the kitchen . Alessandro left me a small note telling me he was already at work.

I turned on the water cooker and took a lemon out of the fridge. I started slicing the lemon with a sharp knife. Then I put the lemons into a large see-through mug and poured the steaming hot water on top of them. I walked over to the balcony, opening the door and sitting down on the day bed. The sun was reflecting on the rose silky material of my morning gown. I started slowly sipping on my warm beverage feeling the warmth hitting my sore throat like ambrosia.
My phones started ringing rudely interrupting my tranquility. I sighed and got up to see who I could cuss out.

„What", I blurted without even attempting to hide my annoyance.

„I see someone is being feisty", my favorite person's voice replied.

„Hey Ale", I said with an all lovey-dovey tone.

„Gattina, I have bad news. Someone tried breaking into a building of ours, where we found bugs implanted. They set the whole building on fire. These people probably thought we were living in there."

„Oh shit. Who was it do you know?", I got goosebumps.

„ My guess is it was my mother's kidnappers. I just have a feeling. The thing is, I can't do anything to them. Otherwise, I'm afraid they would harm her. So I at least need to make sure you are protected, so I want you to take self-defense- classes. Not particularly fighting that I've already experienced your awfully good at."

I chuckled.

„More like how to use a gun or behave in specific circumstances. Like for example when you're alone in the forest with no signal, how to act if being followed and such. I need to know you are safe."

"Of course i'll do it, Ale."

"Ok, then the trainers all already waiting for you in the basement of the apartment complex. Take Brad with you. Of course all females."

I rolled my eyes. That was so him.

"One more thing gattina."

"Hm."

"You should stop doing your yoga workouts in our room. I have cameras installed and I almost had to kill my security guard for seeing your juicy ass in the camera."

I immediately went cherry-red. The thing was while doing yoga I only wore a sports bra and short leggings. I hope the dude is still alive.

After ending our call I went to my walk-in-wardrobe and picked out a pair of black leggings and a cropped long sleeve workout shirt with some jogging-shoes. I then walked to the lift and got out at Brad's apartment. I knocked.
