Chapter 14: The Defeat of Pitch Black, Once And For All

-Serena's PoV-

"But we're not ready..."

"We have no choice."

"What are we going to do then? Walk right up to him and have him kill us like he did Sandy?" Jack said, sounding very unsure of himself and our team.

"Jack, this is not the time to be doubting ourselves. We have to believe that we can win- that's the only way that we will." Serena replied.

"She may be right, mate. There has to be something we can do. At least if we try we'll go down fighting instead of being cowards." Bunny chimed in.

"Well, someone needs to hurry and come up with a plan then! We are literally-" Tooth started, but was interrupted.

"Out of time?" A familiar voice finished.

"Pitch..." Jack said, angrily clenching his fist.

"Ah yes, and i see you have a new member? That scar looks awfully familiar... Could you really be my Serena?" He asked, beaming at me.

"So what if i am, then? Not as if you actually cared about me anyway. You used me. Played me. All for your sick little game..." I replied.

"Ah, yes. And what are you going to do about it now? You still have nothing. Eggs, Snowballs and Teeth won't win the war, my dear." He said, coldly.

"How about Light then?" I said, forming a ball of light in my hand and throwing it at him before he has another chance to speak.

The ball of light grazes his arm and he shrieks, grabbing his shoulder with his other hand.

"But how? Where did this power come from?" He asked.

"Does it matter? You won't live to see another day. Everyone attack now!"

I looked back at everyone, Tooth was paralyzed with fear, Bunny didn't have anything ready and North, just shook his head.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did i come at a bad time? That's too bad isn't it." Pitch laughed. "So who wants to die first?"

"How about you!?" Jack yelled, staff in hand, he conjured up some snowballs and launched them at Pitch.

Pitch swats them away like they were nothing.

"I told you a bunch of snowballs can't defeat the prince of darkness. You'll have to do better than that my dear Jack." He said, preparing his counter attack.

Before he could send it off, I jumped in front and launched one of my own. Sending another ball of light at Pitch.

I heard him scream in pain.

"You-"

"I think you need to rethink your plan. I'm your opposite. I could defeat you right now if i wanted to." I said, though i was still unaware of what my powers were- and what they can do.
