A Snowstorm In April?

Jack Frost AU x Serena

"There's a chill in the air tonight as snow is expected for tomorrow." Said a news reporter on TV.

"Snow? But its April, we should be having rain so the flowers can grow!" Said a female reporter.

"Well, better bundle up those bushes and bulbs because winter is coming back. Its been unusually cold for April this year." He replied. "A code blue is also in effect, so everyone is advised to seek shelter at night if possible."

"How much snow is forecasted for tomorrow?" The woman asked.

"Five to eight inches, not a lot, but more than anyone wants to hear for April." He said. "And now for a look at the rest if the week..."

"Snow? Oh this ruins my whole day!" Mom said.

I sighed.

"Snow is great, but not in April." I agreed. Though- it made me think of Jack...

What in the world is he thinking?

Making it snow in April? If he shows up here i'm going to give him a piece of my mind for sure.

Winter only just ended... He can't miss me that much already- I mean, I miss him but...

I sighed again.

"What's wrong sweetie? Are you that upset about the snow?" Mom asked.

I had forgotten she was in the room.

"Ah- no, i was just thinking about something thats all." I replied with a half-smile.

Mom smiled back and continued watching the TV.

I decided to go upstairs and draw for a bit, but instead of grabbing my 3DS like I had planned, I plopped down on my bed and looked up at the ceiling.

I sighed. "Damn it Jack." I said to myself.

I was trying to get over him. He had left because Winter was over.

"See you next Winter!" He said to me only a month and a week ago.

But who's counting? Not me.

I sighed again and closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep...

"Serena!"

...

"Serena!" I heard. It was mom.

"What!?" I finally called.

"I'm leaving for work, you don't have any school today!" She yelled.

"Really? Alright then, bye!" I called down to her.

Since I was awake now, I grabbed my 3DS off of my desk and opened it, turning it on and opening the Colors 3D app to start drawing.

I started drawing the basic shapes of a figure when i heard knocking. I couldn't tell if it was my window or the door downstairs. I looked up from my drawing out my window, but the knocking stopped and whoever was there, was now gone.

I sighed and went back to drawing, but the knocking started again.

I shut my 3DS and got up, went to the window and opened it. "Jack knock it off!" I yelled as loud as i could.

Luckily there was no one outside to hear me yelling at the air.

I looked around, but Jack was no where in sight, and he didn't appear like i thought he was going to...

I sighed yet again and closed my window. As soon as i turned around, there was the knocking again.

I turned back to the window to see Jack floating there and smiling at me. I opened the window and let him in.

"Hey Serena!" He said cheerfully.

"Don't you 'Hey Serena' me." I said, turning away from him.

"What? Are you mad at me or something?" He asked.

"Sort of." I replied.

"What did I do?" He asked, more concerned.

"You know! Making it snow in April!? What were you thinking!? The poor animals are so confused-"

"The children are happy though. And I got to see you~" He said.

"But Jack- you can't just make it snow whenever you feel like seeing me. Winter just ended- its only been a month and a week since we saw each other." I replied.

"Well yeah, but I missed you-"

"That still doesn't give you the right to make it snow even though you are Winter. You have to melt the snow, and go back to the other side of the world." I said. "I- I don't want you to, but this can't happen. You do understand right?"

He was silent for a moment.

"Yeah, no I understand... I was just- having some fun. But i guess it was wrong..." He replied.

"Can't you come see me without making it snow?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Y-yeah i could. Like i said the snow was just for fun, I can travel wherever I want- I don't have to make it snow."

I laughed. "Well, next time- no snow please, okay?"

"Alright, its a promise. Sorry." He replied.

"Anyway," I began, hugging him. "Its nice to see you Jack."

He hugged me back. "Its nice to see you too, Serena."
