-3rd person pov-

once they reached the house everyone but logan tried to hug them, asking if they were alright, but Virgil just pushed past them angrily, walking up to his room" what did you do to Virgil"  Patton asked, Roman was afraid to tell them, afraid they would hate him, despise him, shun him"I don't know" he lied, knowing he had to tell the truth eventually, he walked upstairs, knocking on Virgil's door"go away Roman" Virgil said in an angry tone, his voice cracking"are you okay, it sounds like your crying" Roman said concerned" why would I be fine, you just stabbed multiple men in front of me! why would I be fine!" Virgil cried out in anger" I'm sorry" Roman said, about to cry himself," sorry won't fix what you did, did you know how scared I was when they raped me, I was even more afraid when you stabbed them, did you think that was going to make things better"

Virgil's voice was now soft and only going a bit above a whisper, he was full on crying now, and roman trying to hold back his tears" no, but I had to do something, I couln't just sit and watch while you were in pain"romans voice cracked as he put his forehead up agianst the door"I think, we need a break from each other" Virgil requested and Romans eyes were wide" what why!?" roman said, just letting tears roll down his face" I can't be with you knowing your gonna do stuff like this for me, and not only that, you didn't even trust me, you thought I was cheating on you, you know I would never do that to you, I'm sorry but until you get your act together and promise me to never do it again, we can go back to the way we used to be, but I think we just need a break away from each other"Roman slid down the door, sitting with his knees to his chest, crying silently" I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I just wanted to protect you" roman apologized and virgil stayed silent

"Please move away from my door," Virgil said and roman did as told"I'm sorry Virgil" Roman whispered to himself before leaving, Virgil, on the other hand, was balling his eyes out, regretting the decision he had made all of a sudden, his friend appeared and hugged him, resting his head on her lap, just listening to him talk about his feelings while she stayed silent" you shouldn't regret what you just did" Virgil looked up at his friend" what?" he questioned"you shouldn't feel bad if you need time for yourself, he's just gonna have to accept that, you both need time to get yourselves together," Janelle said while caressing the crying boy's hair" I, guess you're right, I do need space and time to get my emotions together from what just went down"

Janelle smiled"there you go, you're getting it, now I think you should sleep, I'll be right here with you in the morning, "Janelle said as Virgil started to drift off into a sleepless nightmare.

In the morning...

Virgil woke up to Janelle beside him"won't your dad get angry you stayed here with me" all Janelle did was smile and pat his head, ruffling his already messy hair, he realized he was on his bed, Janelle must have carried him to his bed, he got out of bed, grabbing  his jacket with Naruto and Sasuke on it, and a pair of black ripped jeans, he took a shower, brushed his teeth, and put on the jacket, jeans and converse." where are you going?"Janelle asked, Virgil did the same thing that Janelle did to him, he smiled and patted her head, then made a gesture for her to follow him"really?"Janelle said before getting up and following Virgil out the door of his room.  

4 hours later...

Virgil still hadn't come home, everyone was getting worried, especially Roman, he wasn't doing good, he hasn't come out of his room since Virgil said they needed a break, he has a bathroom inside his room so he didn't need to go out for anything, he didn't eat or sleep all night, and he was miserable without his baby, he blamed himself for all of this, he thought it was all his fault when he was just trying to protect Virgil, but he could have done it another way.

midnight...

Virgil still hadn't come home"hey roman," Thomas said knocking on his door, Roman didn't answer"are you okay, you haven't come out of your room in 2 days" Tomas was worried(it's 12, which means its the next day) Roman was huddled in a corner, all the lights were off and he looked emotionless "roman please, I'm worried about you and Virgil"Roman still didn't respond, the mention of Virgil's name sent him into tears, he covered his mouth to try and muffle the sounds, Thomas could tell he was crying, he was near the door in the far right corner"Roman I can tell your crying, what's wrong"Thomas lock picked the dorr and saw the state of the room, he covered his mouth, he saw Roman on the floor.

In nothing but a jacket and shorts, he was balling his eyes out"oh god" There were beer bottles all over the floor, he was drinking a lot"what happened to you"All roman did was burst into tears, Thomas could tell he hadn't been sleeping"please, I can't help you if you don't  tell me what's wrong" Roman just cried loudly, attracting the attention of Patton and Logan"what happened to Roman" Patton said ,and they all helped him calm down as he began to explain what happened"dear god" Patton walked away for a second to think.

Roman pushed them all out of his room and fell on his bed crying,pulling the covers over her head,Virgil finally came home,everyoje ran up to him asking questions,Roman stayed him his room,not speaking to anyone,to guilty to face Virgil.

Virgil ran upstairs,getting out of the crowd of people,he was so exhausted that once he hit the pillow...he fell asleep
