the Adventures of a Lonely Lamp

A little ole lamp sat in the corner of my room on a small wooden table.  It wasn't very special; just a white shade and glass bottle with a cord of steel.  I had made it myself one year way back when.  Yeah, it just sat there.  Not important one slimy bit.

I walked out of my bedroom with the lamp turned off.  Then all of a sudden, a little light flickered behind me.  I popped my head back in.  I looked at the lamp and glared holes into the stained shade with my laser gun eyes.  It glared back at me.

I looked left, looked right, then stomped over and slammed the light switch into an off position.  I skipped happily out of my room, thinking of nothing but cookies.

But then, my room filtered with light.  Once more, I spun around to see with my laser eyes, the light shining and glaring back at me.  Eyes were glued onto the lamp shade.  Seriously, there actually was eyes there, I had glued them on when I was five.

I stormed over to the lamp.  It screamed in terror as I raised my hand to unplug it.  The lamp didn't want to be unplugged though.  When I put my angry hand on the plug, it shocked me so bad I never messed with the lamp again.

With me out of it's way, my lamp threw a lamp party, a light switch rave.  It invited all of it's little lamp friends over.  Somehow, a disco ball was hanging down from my ceiling.  On of the lamps had tied me to a chair so I was forced to watch as they all got to be 'dimmed out' little lamps, if you know what I mean.

THE END :)
