As we approached the school that Monday, Calums hand had linked with mine. I had automatically called the gay code as soon as the stupid dare was being agreed to. I didnt want the school to actually think I fell in love with Calum. He was just my best friend nothing more nothing less. It wasnt like in the movies where the best friends fall in love. That just doesnt happen, plus I had a major crush for our years valedictorian, Ashton Irwin.

He was so cute and he was really nice which was a plus. Maybe after this he see me as more than a friend and more like boyfriend material. Calums hand did feel nice against my skin though and it did help lessen some of the negative glares we were receiving. I guess girls still hoped after all time Calum was still available. Technically, he is. But tragically for them its not going to happen. Hes Gay.

Heading up through the doors, Calums friends soon came up to join us. For some pointless reason, they dont seem to like me that much and I struggled to get him to let go of my hand. I felt uncomfortable under there glares. Especially under his really good friend Michael's glaze. We might have become friends but right now it certainly didn't feel like it. 'Luke, what are you doing?' Calum whispered to me quietly.

'Not my scene' I mumbled, 'Need to print some stuff off anyway'. Calum seem to understand and gave me a light peck on my cheek, releasing my hand in doing so. I shot him a quick smile before I hurried away to the library. I had roughly ten minutes before the bell and I really did want to print off the article I had written. Then I could give it to Ashton and he'd be impressed.

Opening the door, the Liberian shot me a smile and I quickly logged on to a computer. Opening the file, I selected the print button and collected it as it come out of the printer. Perfect. Signing out, I hurried out to homeroom, since I hated being late. The bell rang as I walked through the door and I rushed to sit down in my seat. Luckily for me I sit next to Ashton since I comes after H. Tragically on the other side is Calum since he's Hood. It's basically how we became friends. Really it should be the other way round but since Ash and I talked more regularly, so Calum and I switched. The teacher never complained, most likely hoping that we would rub off on Calum and he may produce the grades he was capable of.

'Here's the article for wednesday's new paper' I said with a smile. 'Thank's Luke, this will be brilliant, I have no doubts' Ashton went with a smile. I couldn't help but blush at what he said. Sure I spent a lot of time working on those things but to hear those words just made it ten times better. Calum shot me a slightly glance and I regained my composure.

'Oh yeah Luke' Ashton began. 'Yes' I butted in. 'Would you like me to swap with Calum as I heard you too are dating'. At that moment I wanted to facepalm, scream, shout and cry. 'No, its fine' Calum went before I had a choice although I guess it saved me from a lie, 'we'd only end up making out anyway'. Ashton turned crimson slightly at Calum's answer and I just buried my face in my hands. There goes that chance.

Shortest worst written thing but its been three weeks and I do have an explanation, im retaking coursework, im doing loads of coursework, ive just got a job and i have a horse,dog, two cats and so my time is pretty spas to write so I apologise. If you want quicker updated then there have to be like this which is as can imagine pretty short or you can wait forever and have long ones so do comment which you would perfer :) PS NOT EDITED OR CHECK!!!!
