Chapter Twenty-Six: Never Forget

"Hello My Rival." 

Starring at each other, I felt the tingle grow stronger urging me to fight him but I knew it wasn't the best time. My arm shook with his presence and I could tell from his back he was also feeling our power. He smiled and so did I, I then reached my hand out to shake his. No need to be impolite to someone especially to a Rival like him. 

He extended his but we both felt something and both caught blades directed at him. In my hand I held Durandal and Vali had caught Kiba's Holy-Demonic Sword with his own hand. Neither of us broke eye contact just awaiting the other to make a move. Kiba and Xenovia were astonished to see us catch their blades without flinching. 

"How rude, wouldn't you say White. or is it Vali?"

"It seems so, Red or should I say Y/n?"

"I don't have a preference but my name would suffice."

"The same goes for me, Vali."

"So it would seem, Y/n."

We laughed together as we spoke in unison to the Knights "You both should really stand down, we see that your blades tremble." Both saw our glares that could take down any Devil with just its power. Suddenly a stern voice was heard form behind me "Yuuto. Xenovia. Sheathe your weapons." It was Rias, she looked serious, we both then look go of the swords.

I patted the two Knights comforting them as Rias asked my Rival "What are you doing here, White Dragon Emperor?" Vali gave his response "Recognizing a worthy opponent and the corresponding power gap is proof of strength. But those who couldn't win against a worm like Kokabiel are hardly fit to face me." 

I simply laughed "Though they could not best the worm they held him at bay until my arrival." He boasted "So did it seem, I could sense your power across the city. I'd say I'm impressed but that be a lie until I saw it first hand."

"The road work both ways White, until proven I'd say you wouldn't hold a candle to me."

Vali let his smile show as he states "I didn't come to fight today. I accompanied Azazel to Japan. I'm just trying to pass the time, right Red?"

"Of course, though I hadn't expected you to show yourself so early."

"I wanted to see if you'd fare against me and from the looks, I'd have a decent fight on my hands."

"Oh you know their fights are never below that of glorious."

"We shall see. Y/n, how high do you think you rank against the powers of this world."

"I'd say since we are Rivals we spot close to one another."

"That is up for debate, though the Crimson Satan Sirzechs Lucifer isn't in the top ten. Though from my understanding you may as well know the first."

"Of course though sadly it's neither of us."

"You'd be correct but that will change."
