Tony's POV

Not much has changed since last week with Mike. Sometimes I wonder if I had just imagined it all and he had really just punched me or something, making me hit my head and hallucinate. Thats what I start believing until I see Mike giving me a slight apologetic look when Adam confronts me, and at one point I could've sworn he mouthed a 'sorry' to me when Adam was shouting at me.

Mike hasn't stopped it though. I'm still getting just as much shit from them, being teased because i'm "emo" and being judged and laughed at by them for being gay. I didn't really expect him too though. I wouldn't want to stand up to Adam either. And why would Mike want to help me anyway?
Or maybe Adam told Mike to say that to me, just to pretend to help me, make me even more vulnerable and then not actually help me at all.
I don't know whats going on, but what I do know is that nothings changing and I'm probably just getting my hopes up for nothing.

After a long day of school, which included being laughed at by the 3 Arseholes as well as the rest of my class after Adam pushed me over in science class, I finally get home.
It's not like homes much of a relief, though. If anything, it's even worse at home some days.
The main reason for this is my dad. He hates me. I don't know if thats because I'm pretty much the reason that my mother walked out on us, or because i'm gay, or just because i'm generally a bad son.
Theres just no escape.

It's around 7pm when I decide to leave my bedroom to make myself some dinner. I walk down to the kitchen to find my dad in his normal spot- asleep with his head resting against the kitchen counter and a beer in his hand with several other cans of empty beer scattered around him.
I try making my dinner as quietly as possible as to not wake him, but it doesn't work. I think it was the clashing of the pots and pans that woke him up. He starts shouting at me, saying god knows what as I cannot understand a word he's saying due the amount of alchol he must've drunk today.
Before I know it, I'm recieving a punch to the head and face and my body is instinctively running back up the stairs to my bedroom.
So thats how my evening panned out- no dinner and a black eye.

A/N: hey guys! thank you for reading this so far (if anyone is- i'm probably just talking to myself right now.) Sorry this chapter was kinda sad. I'm just trying to introduce everyone in the story so it can kinda make sense. I was trying to alternate the chapters between Mike's and Tony's POV but i've already messed that up since this chapter would've needed to be Mike's chapter. It wouldn't have really worked that way though and I didn't think it would last anyway so I hope it's still okay as it is!
By the way, I'm sorry if i'm making my A/N's too long, I tend to ramble.
