Chapter ten( Threat)
Draco's POV

"So how did it go?"
Blaise asked slumping himself on the couch.

"Terrible" I muttered slouching deeper into my bed.

I was currently in my bed at the Malfoy Manor and Blaise had decided to pay me a visit to interrogate me about the whole "telling-her-everything" thing.

"Really? Did she hex you?" He asked with annoying smirk.

"Dont get too hopeful Blaise. She fainted when she heard about the vow."

"Damn, that must give a good blow to your ego man, like she actually fainted."

I gave him a blank look.

"When is the wedding then?"

"In three weeks. I dont know if she knows. I guess mother told her when they were having a talk."

"Wow, thats quick. Wait, Now dont tell me you didnt talk to her "
He asked as if he knew the answer already.

"What would I say? I mean she hates me, she would have hexed me into oblivion."

My dark skinned friend rolled his eyes.

"Correction, she used to hate you. Now she just dislikes you." He said "matter-of-factly"

It was now my turn to roll eyes.

"Yeah, and you know that because you've been her best friend since first year."

"I've not. But Ginny is. She told me that she doesn't hate you like bofore. She just finds you annoying, which you are."

Him and Ginny had gotten together at the end of our last Hogwarts year. He literally asked her out in Hogwarts Express.

I glared at him which dint have a bit effect on him.

"Hey guys!!" Came an excited voice and pansy entered my room.

Oh, so she came back from Canada. She didn't return for her final year at Hogwarts and instead went to canada with her aunt.

"Hey Pansy! What are you doing here?"
Blaise commented.

"Hello to you too Blaise"
She said rolling her eyes to which he gave  a sheepish smile.

"I mean, you never told us you were coming back." He said.

"Yeah, I decided to surprise you. So SURPRISE!"
She yelled with fake enthusiasm.

I chuckled.

"How have you been Pansy?"
I asked.

"Great, actually. I learnt designing from my aunt. Shes a great designer."

I nodded. Pansy was planning to become a fashoin designer.

We were casually talking when an owl swooped inside with a letter.

I untied the letter, and as soon as it was done the owl flied away.

But what was written inside the letter, shocked us:

To
Draco Malfoy,

We heard about your little deal with the squib and her mudblood daughter. It is a disgraceful thing that a pureblood like you is betrothed to a mudblood. And it is even more disgraceful that you are happy to be married to scum. Your actions at Hogwarts this year were unforgivable. You are a death eater. You should know where your loyalties lie. Go and spend as much time as possible with your little mudblood because, its time we take the matter in our hands.

"Who is it mate?"

I showed the letter to them as their eyes widened.

"Oh salazar!"
Panay exclaimed.

"Who can it be?"

"We need to find her. Im going to her house." I declared.

"I'll go and fetch Ginny and Harry."
Blaise said and I nodded.

"I'll come along with you Blaise."
Pansy said to which Blaise vaguely nodded.

Hermione's POV

"No, I said we are watching Titanic."
Ginny persisted.

"No Gin, we've watched that like hundred times. We are watching Avengers."
Harry argued.

"Guys, can we watch that one with ocean girl?"

I laughed. Ron was never good with movies' names.

"Are you talking about Moana?"
I asked and he nodded excitedly.

We were currently in my bedroom as we decided we'll be watching movies.
It had been almost half an hour and the three were arguing over which movie should we watch.

It had started to get annoying now.

"Guys, can you like, stop arguing and choose one movie to watch?"

Of course, they didnt hear me. Ron did, but he just shrugged. He found the name of the movies they were taking very interesting.

"Excuse me Guys, Ill be back in an hour or so."
I said, hoping at least one of them heard it and I exited the room.

Draco'S POV

"Where is she?"
I said almost shouting.

The three turned to me with surprised faces.

"Where is who?" Weasley asked.

"Where is Hermione?"
I repeated.

"Oh she is right- oh!"

"She was right here. Where did she go?"
Potter said to which I rolled my eyes.

"We didnt realize she left the room."
Ginny said.

"Are you bloody serious right now?"
I said.

"Hey chill Malfoy! Why are you so keen on finding her." Ginny rolled her eyes.

"Oh for Salazar's sake, read this letter."
I said throwing the crumpled piece of paper to them.

Their eyes widened.

"Oh no.."

"Who can it be?" Weasley questioned.

"We dont have time for this, we need to find her quick."
I said urgently and they nodded.

Oh Merlin, I hope she is fine.
Just be okay Hermione.
