Cass looked down at the plastic. 2 pink lines showed up. Cass didn't know what to think. She knew she loved this baby. But she was scared for her and the babies life. She knew she had to tell Varain. So that night when Cassidy and Veronica we're asleep she decided that was her chance.
" Hey Varain?" Cass started as she washed the dishes.
" Ya Cassie?" Varain said as he put one of his lab books away.Cassandra was a strong girl. But when it came to losing her daughter she didn't feel brave anymore. Cass could feel tears beginning to form. Varain could see that and walked over to Cass. " Cass if you don't-"
" I'm pregnant. " Cass blurted out. She fell to the floor. She wanted to be brave she wanted to be happy but losing Quira scarred her. " I'm scared Varain. I don't want to lose this baby." Varain wrapped his arms around his wife.
"Cass I know you're scared. I am to. But I promise this baby is a blessing. He or she will be fine as long as they have their mom and dad." Cass grinned.
" I love you. " She said.
"Now let's head to bed ok?" Varain asked as he stood up and reached out his hand. Cass grabbed it and pulled herself up. This baby was definitely giving her mood swings.
