*alyssa*

I scrolled through my phone, trying to find something to do to get my mind off of everything going on with Ashton. We were at the venue now, and no one was really here yet, so I tried my best to stay away from him.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Alyssa? C-can we talk?" Ashton asked, his eyes puffy and red. The sight of him looking so sad hurt me, but I have to put on a brave face. I can't start crying too.

"I mean, you can." I crossed my arms, staring at him. The way he looked at me broke my heart.

"About last n-night... I just w-wanted to say I am s-sorry for what happened." He sniffed, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. "I also wanted to say that at least we k-know our first times were with each other, right? And w-we love each other and I can't stand you hating me because I haven't loved someone like this in a long time. As I said at the bowling alley yesterday, you are in my thoughts more often than not I don't know if you could ever forgive me, but I would understand."

I bit my lip, a tear sliding down my cheek. "I love you Ashton," I whispered.

His face brightened as he looked up from the ground. He moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, engulfing me in a warm hug. "Thank you so much. I really didn't think you would forgive me."

"I honestly don't think I could ever stay away from you," I admitted. He cupped his hands around my cheeks and kissed me gently, our lips meeting feeling like a billion sparks flying. This kiss was full of love, something I've never experienced. Soon we pulled away slowly, his eyes full of love and kindness.

He smiled at me. "I love you, Alyssa Payne."

"I love you, Ashton Irwin."

"I love you, Luke Hemmings!"

"I love you, Michael Clifford!"

I rolled my eyes as Michael and Luke ran towards each other, hugging each other saying 'I love you' over and over. Ashton covered his face, and I glared as Muke continued to spin in the middle of the room.

"Stop guys," Ashton groaned as the boys pulled away, smiling.

"How long were you guys listening?" I put my hands on my hips, squinting at the, well, children in the middle of the room.

Michael shrugged. "Basically the whole time."

"Michael, you weren't supposed to tell them!" Luke slapped his arm and he winced, rubbing the spot.

"I-I mean, I mean that-"

Ashton pushed them out the door as Michael continued trying to explain what was happening.

"Now," Ashton smiled as he closed the door to the room, "where were we?"
