Varian was on his way to the castle he was making a plan!

On one hand, he wanted to keep he's cover that he was still that naïve Alchemist that didn't mean to hurt anyone!

On the other hand he wanted to fix what he's done but to do that he had to sneak into the castle, go into the room he used as he's lab (which he wouldn't have known about if he didn't join the Saporians), grab his notes on the Quirineon, analyze them to find the cure, give it to Rapunzel's parents, and hope that when they get there memories back they wouldn't arrest him! (Even though he knew that's what he deserved he didn't want his dad to deal with that fact that his son was in prison)

So of course Varian being the person that he is made a plan

'Ok first I'll walk into the castle like I normally do, make it seem like I am going to the demanitus chamber, but then go though this staircase that will......' Varian looked to were that stairway led! He knew it to well! If he was to get to the abandoned lab then he was going to have to go though the dungeons!

Hugo was walking around the castle with nothing to do!

Ever since Ulla was freed Hugo was told to stay in the castle to watch for her (because let's be honest Hugo only knew Varian for a week and he immediately noticed the weird behavior)

He was mad at first

but after after a while in the castle he had changed his mind...

He was furious!!!!

He hated the nobility!!!

He hated royals!!!!

'Why would Donella think this was a good idea?'

" Hugo you told Nuru that you were injoying it here!" Yong said after listening to Hugo's thoughts.

"I only said what she wanted to here!" Hugo said slightly annoyed!

Yong just walked away eye rolling Hugo!

Hugo continued exploring the castle when he heard Varian.

"Oh I'm was just heading to the demanitus chamber, I have this project I have been wanting to work on for a while and I......." Varian was then interrupted by the guard he was talking to "yes sounds very exciting, but I have work to do!" The guard said as he walked away

'Rude much! I know I was totally bluffing! But still!' Varian thought as the guard left.

Hugo was officially confused!

What was he's deal? What is he up to? But he kept that in his inner mind

A little explanation,

In this story each of the Characters that have the mind wave thing have a part of the mind were the others can't hear! I'm calling this the inner mind just because!!!

Also they have the ability to not listen to the others!!! Hugo I'm sure would use this part a lot!!!!

Hugo followed Varian with his amazing thieving skills!

As he was following he noticed something....... Varian was a pro!!

Hugo can't even hear his footsteps!

And somehow Varian knows exactly where and when the guards where going to be!
