He's been talking for hours.

Not that Cassandra minded, but there was one thing that did cross her mind...... why didn't they tell him the truth? Why lie? Why make it sound like she didn't use him as bait? She was glad that he wasn't mad at her but he should have been told the truth!

"Oh sorry! The seven trails of demanitus are challenges created by demanitus that are supposed to be impossible to solve! Only the smartest people can solve them!" Varian said very excited.

"So your new friends are nerds like you?" Cass said teasingly.

"Well I wouldn't put it that way!" Varian said.

"Then they said that according to what they have studied, the eternal library was in the chamber and they

"And let me guess they let you help them build it!" Cass stated.

"You know me too well Cassie! Anyway after a week we finished it an...." Cass once again interrupted.

"Wait why didn't anyone look for you?" Cass asked.

"Uh I don't know!" Varian said.

"Ok then continue!" Cass said.

"Ok so then we opened the portal that led to the library and when I entered the magic of the Saporian wand of obliviom was removed and my memories returned." Varian said stopping for a second before continuing.

"Then I learned my mother was trapped in the library so we decided to look for a way to get her out!" Varian said.

"YOUR MOTHER IS ALIVE?!" Cass asked completely shocked!

"Sort of? It's hard to explain! Anyway while we were looking me and my mom moved to the next room were she...Uh she....she possessed me!" Varian said heartbroken.

Cass just sat there completely shocked.

"Then come to find out that she was trying to free Zhan Tiri and now she's free and I don't know what to do!" Varian said.

Cass became horrified!! Zhan Tiri? The ancient demon?

Then the tower turned red.
