flashback 

"well yeah but there's people i don't wanna talk to in here"  chase sniffles and the tears start to fall harder when he realizes he's one of those people. ever since noen got a girlfriends he had stopped talking to chase even though chase texted him good morning and goodnight everyday. in the beginning it was painful for noen because chase would leave heart wrenching voice mails about how he wanted noen to call him back or even just text him and tell him he didn't want to talk to him anymore as long as noen would just speak to him... but noen never did he didn't know what to say what was he supposed to say "i can't talk to you at all because every time i have a conversation with you. you make me fall more in love with you and i only have a girlfriend to hide the fact that im in love with you" so instead he listened to those heart wrenching voice mails and dealt with the guilt that he was utterly destroying this poor boy who had no idea why noen wouldn't talk to him. and that's how noen just thought it was going to have to be until one day...

3rd pov. 

it was the one year anniversary of the lights out tour and they wanted everyone to get together for a reunion everyone agreed and that's how they all got here sitting in these chairs about to answer questions... noen saw chase and almost gasped at how destroyed the boy looked he had puffy eyes and his hair was pulled to the front of his face and the boy who used to wear skirts and croptops and  prance about giggling was sitting in his chair with his head facing down with a oversized hoodie and sweatpants on... noens heart sunk looking at what'd he'd created  the stage crew handed them all a microphone and the interviewer sat down in his chair and said "hey guys welcome back and today we are interviewing the lights out boys!!" the boys cheered but chase just kinda sat there he looked to Jaden and Anthony and said "so guys I've heard some dating rumors have been going on" jaden giggled and Anthony chuckled and said "i would like to confirm that jaden is my baby and we are dating " chase smiled lightly and started clapping  the interviewer turned to chase and said "chase you said in a recent live that you have learned a bunch of lessons since the lights out tour  what's a big one that you've learned"  chase held up his microphone and said "well the biggest one that ive  learned is probably that the people that you trust the most will be the people that shatter your heart in the end and it sucks that i had to learn that but it is what it is..." noen gulped and anthony shot him a glare the interviewer gasped and said "im so sorry" chase shrugged and the interviewer looked at both chase and Noen and said "so it's been about a year since choen and people want to know what you think of it"  noen kind of shrugged and said "no comment" chase spoke and said "i mean the concept is kinda cool but it's not gonna happen" noens head shot up and he looked at chase hopefully chase looked back down tears swelling up in his eyes chase didn't speak a lot the rest of interview until they were all getting up to leave noen stopped him at the door and looked at him chase wouldn't look him in the eyes he wanted to see those baby blues the eyes that he hadn't seen in so long he held chases hand and said "look at me beauty. please..."chase sniffled and said with his head still down "why do i have to look at you if you won't even talk to me" noen gulped and said  "im sorry beauty but please just look at me!..." chase looked up and noen sighed he felt content looking into those baby blues even though his eyes were puffy and red his eyes were still beautiful chase sniffled and said "why won't you talk to me..." and then the tears started falling the tears that chase had been holding in the whole interview the tears that he wasn't letting out now noen sighed and said "because im in love with you and i couldn't tell you because every time i talk to you i fall more in love with you and i know you'll never feel the same way!" chase jumped at noens tone and whispered "but what if i was in love with you the whole time" chase stood up on his tippy toes and brought noens lips to his. noen pulled chase in by his waist and smiled into the kiss chase only remembered that his hands were on noens chest when he put them around his neck. noen pulled away and kissed chases forehead pulling him in into a tight hug chase hugged back and said "i missed you giant" noen smiled at the nickname that chase had given him on tour because noen was 6'0 and chase was 4'11  noen smiled and said "i missed you too beauty..." chase giggled and noen said "i think we just gave that camera a show.." and pointed to the security camera to the left of them chase blushed and said "oh my god..." noen chuckled and said "you wanna get out of here?" chase nodded and him and noen walked out of building hand in hand...
