Naomi had gotten home and promptly ignored her aunt. The girl knew today her aunt would, once again, try to convince and by convince she means force the girl to take the entrance exams for U.A. So, like the mature person she is, made up some grade A bullshit about promising to help tutor a friend, and left again. She wandered around the city near tatooin station, or somewhere near there. That was when her day got infinitely worse. She ran into none other than Katsuki Bakugo, also known as the biggest asshole she had ever known. Naomi promptly turned around to go a different way before she felt a hand grab her arm. Before the girl could even fight back, she was being pulled backwards, and hit two bodies. These people grabbed her arms, restraining her. She wiggled around, as she faced the one responsible. It's not that she couldn't fight her way out of this, she just honestly didn't want to. School had drained her and now having to deal with Bakugo and his lackeys, again, was going to make her mood infinitely worse.

"Did you honestly think I wouldn't notice you?" Bakugo asked. Naomi knew she was in for it this time, especially after pissing him off so thoroughly in class earlier today. She sighed as she opened her mouth to respond, but her actions stopped. Rising above Bakugo was some weird sludge thing with eyes and a mouth. A villain! Noooo... really? The boys behind Naomi let her go and started running away in fear, while all she could do was stand and watch. The villain rose to its full height and started reaching towards Bakugo, saying some weird crap about how he likes his victims fiery or something. Bakugo seemed frozen in shock so Naomi did the only thing she could think of. She pushed Bakugo behind her and ran at the villain. She touched him and used her air quirk to get between his body, before pushing out wind, successfully spreading the sludge in all directions. It would take a while for the monster to reform, buying them enough time. Naomi grabbed Bakugo's hand and started running. The boy seemed to have finally gotten out of his shock, and ripped his hand from the girls grip, grunting something about how he didn't need her help.

"You can just thank me later." It seems she had overestimated the amount of time it would be needed for the sludge monster to reform, and she felt something wet wrap around her ankle, and before she knew it, she was flying through the air before she hit the ground. Naomi had been expecting this though, and used her air quirk to soften the blast, and used her earth quirk to soften the ground. It still hurt like a bitch though. She tried to get onto her hands and knees before she felt something slam into her back, causing all her progress to be undone. She looked up only to see the sludge villain right above her. It brought it's weird hand like thing up again, before bringing it down. Naomi braced for impact, but instead felt something jump on top of her, taking the full force of the attack. She looked behind her and noticed Bakugo shielding her with his body. Despite the situation, Naomi chuckled.

"Aww, Kaachan. You really do care," She cooed, using the nickname Deku always called him.

"This is my thank you for earlier. Now we're even. Also, don't call me that!" He yelled at the girl. Before she could retort, she felt the weird sludge thing completely surrounding them, pulling the two apart. Bakugo was near the front, his face able to get some air, while Naomi was stuck in the middle. She quickly created an air bubble around her while using that as oxygen, but also as a shield. The sludge villain may have had some water in him, but not enough for her to control. She could hear explosions coming from Bakugo, left and right as she struggled against the sludge trapping her. She let out a scream, dispersing the sludge villain again with her air quirk, but it seemed prepared for the girls attack, and reformed around them in a matter of seconds. Naomi had been caught off guard, and her arms were quickly restrained. She created another air bubble, this time just around her head, seeing as the sludge had already grabbed her arms. She struggled against it trying to use fire or anything to get it to let go. She finally used both fire and wind, and one of her arms was freed. She started reaching out, hoping to find Bakugo. She reached out further and finally managed to grasp his hand. He wrapped his fingers around hers and she started to pull herself towards him as he did the same on his end. The sludge villain had a different idea as he pulled her other arm further back, and her hand slipped from Bakugo's grip. She could hear him yelling in rage, but then it stopped, and she heard the one thing she never expected.

"DEKUUU!" Bakugo screeched. She tried to hear what was going on outside, and tried to reach out for Bakugo again, but felt nothing but sludge. Maybe he had escaped. Maybe he was free and she was next. Before she could let herself hope even a little bit, she heard people shouting for someone to stop.

"There's another hostage inside of him," Someone yelled, but Naomi didn't recognize the voice. Must have been a bystander or a pro-hero. Naomi took this as her time to shine, and let out another scream using the last of the air in her air bubble, and dispersing the sludge. She looked forward, only to be faced with All Might, like the All Might. The symbol of peace. He seemed surprised that Naomi had done what she did, but grabbed her arm nonetheless, pulling her from the sludge that had already started to reform around the girl, and landed a powerful punch on the monster all at the same time. The girl tumbled a little before landing on a person. A person that smelled like caramel and quickly pushed her off. Fucking Bakugo, being a prideful bitch like always. Naomi huffed before feeling little wet droplets of rain on her skin. Had All Might's punch really changed the weather? Damn! She knew he was powerful, but she never would have imagined he'd be that powerful. Soon enough, heroes had started surrounding Naomi and Bakugo, praising them on their bravery, while scolding Deku for being an idiot.

"When you become a hero, and need an agency to sign with, come to me, I'd love to have a sidekick like you," one of the heroes was saying. Naomi sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"I'm actually not planning on becoming a hero," the girl said. The people around her seemed shocked at her declaration, and others seemed dejected.

"With a quirk like yours, you could be a great hero." One of the heroes said. The girl just shrugged, before getting to her feet. She didn't care for people telling her how powerful her quirk is, and she didn't need and ambulance, so she decided to leave. She turned and started walking towards the exit of the alleyway thing they were in, before she got mobbed by people with cameras.

"How did it feel to be in a hostage situation?"

"Were you scared?"

"What was it like talking with pro-heroes?"

"What was it like seeing All Might in action?" Naomi ran another hand through her hair before trying to get past the reporters, choosing not to say a word, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to get past. That was when she felt someone's hand wrap around her wrist, and start shoving through the reporters, dragging her with them. Naomi looked up and instantly noticed the spiky blonde hair, that could only mean one person. Bakugo pulled her after him, as they ditched the scene, and the cameras behind them. Once they had gotten far enough, Bakugo had let go of her arm only to push her into the wall, successfully caging her in. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at the boy above her.

"What was all that shit about not wanting to become a hero?" He asked, though he was basically yelling at her.

"One, get the fuck off of me." Naomi pushed him away, "And two, it's none of your business." With that the girl made to leave but Bakugo grabbed her arm, halting her movements. She was so not in the mood to fight the spiky-haired, explosive boy.

"I want to know," he growled.

"Fine, okay? Someone close to me died because they were a pro-hero and I really don't want to go through that again." The said averting her eyes from the boy in front of her. "Now let go." Bakugo did as she said, seeing no reason to further piss the girl off more.
