Red and blue flashing lights blinded Naomi, as the police finally arrived. Took them long enough. Policemen started arresting the villains (minus handyman and mist guy who both had gotten away) and Naomi felt a sense of satisfaction in knowing she had helped catch them. She quickly shook that thought out of her head. If she started thinking like that, then she would actually start to consider going to U.A.

"Naomi!" The said girl looked towards the voice, and before she knew it, her aunt was crushing her in a hug.

"I'm fine." The girl gave her aunt a bright smile to reassure her further. Eraserhead took her aunt away to talk, while Naomi was being checked by some EMTs for any injuries. The teen gave one worded answers to the EMTs questions, before being given the all clear. She was too wrapped up in her own head to even notice. The only thing she was thinking about was whether or not her classmates would hear about this. She didn't know how she would react, but it would probably annoy her to no end. As she was wrapped up thinking about this, she didn't even notice the looks her aunt and Eraserhead kept throwing her way. Finally, after the whole incident had been dealt with, Eraserhead had approached Naomi before she could go home.

"You fought pretty well for a kid," the hero said. Naomi couldn't help but notice the way he belittled her by calling her a kid.

"Thank-" Eraserhead cut her off before she could keep going.

"However, even if you did take the U.A exams, I doubt you would pass." With that he walked away, a smug smile on her face. Naomi was fuming. He complimented her fighting just to tell her she couldn't get into U.A! Oh, she was going to show him. She was going to throw his words on the ground, stomp on them, and then throw them in his face. Like hell she couldn't pass!

"You're really red. Is everything alright?" Her aunt asked, having come over once the hero had left.

"I'm going to get into U.A."

For the next couple of weeks, a police car was always seen near Naomi's neighborhood, and a pro-hero, whether it be Eraserhead or someone else, could be seen patrolling nearby in case anything else happened. Thankfully, it seemed the villains had backed off for now. Naomi had no clue why they had decided to target her, but she didn't bother to try and figure it out. All she cared about was training. It's not like Naomi was unfit or anything. She was the furthest from it, actually. Her dad thought it was important to always exercise, even if she didn't plan on being athletic in her future. She always took runs after she finished her homework, close to when the sun set, and during the winter she took up kickboxing. Her training involved finding good ways to utilize her quirk. Naomi's quirk was... complicated, in the most simple of terms.

(Imagine this being red in Present Mic's voice)

Naomi Isaki: Quirk: Element. She can control the elements on the periodic table, but those elements are manifested as the four elements, fire, air earth, and water. Each element's power differs based on how long she trains with it, and how advanced her understanding of the element is. Naomi tends to use earth and air, more than she does her fire and water quirk due to the fact her fire and water quirk usually requires her to produce the elements from her own body or the things around, which takes up more of her energy. She also has severe drawbacks for her quirk. Unbeknownst to many people, Naomi has a second quirk called Cards. She is able to put any object inside a playing card and pull it out for use at a later date. Another use for this quirk is she can stop any projectile being thrown her way by touching it with a playing card. The bigger the object the more energy she uses up and if she overuses her quirk she gets severe headaches and will eventually pass out.

Naomi just had to figure out different ways to utilize her quirk based on different situations. She had no idea what the U.A entrance exam consisted of therefore had to prepare for almost every single possibility. But training an element quirk usually took place outside. Where Eraserhead could see her and know his words got to her. She couldn't have that, it would be extremely detrimental to her pride. So, everyday after school, she would go into the nearby forest for training, pushing the limits of each element, finding out how far she could go. Then she started experimenting different ways to use her quirk to better her fighting style. Her defense consisted of mainly earth, while she used fire as her offense, air and earth to strengthen her hits, and air to make her faster and lighter. It took her awhile to get used to her accelerated speed though. She had no idea what to do with water. She had learned at an early age that she could control a person's movements by manipulating the water in their body, but she refused to ever do it. It felt inhumane and purely wrong.

After a few months of training, Naomi decided to have a little experiment to see if anything would actually work in a real battle. Meaning she had to fight someone. Suddenly, the perfect test subject popped into her head, and she grinned like a maniac. She was basically planning her own funeral, but it would be fine right?

After school that day, Naomi approached the explosive blonde she hadn't talked to since the sludge villain incident.

"Hey Kaachan," she called in greeting to the boy. He turned and gave glare at the girl who had started walking beside him.

"Don't call me that!" He yelled.

"Anyways, I was wondering if you could do me a favor," Naomi started completely ignoring his previous comment, "I was wondering if you wanted to fight."

Bakugo's eyes widened at this. No matter how many times the two had fought before he had always been the one to start it, and it was mostly because of him bullying Deku. For Naomi to insinuate a fight for no reason was completely uncharacteristic even for her. Nevertheless Bakugo would not turn down a chance to fight the annoying girl. Seeing the boys smirk Naomi assumed he agreed to her little request.

"Not here, of course, after school, I'll find you." With that she started walking away from the boy, but stopped and turned to face him, a smirk on her lips. "We will be using quirks of course." Then she walked away, leaving the boy in shock.

A/N:

I am so sorry this chapter was late. I completely procrastinated and it's honestly just me being irresponsible. It's also a little bit shorter than the others, but the next chapter will be a little bit more action filled. Thank you for understanding.
