A Dangerous Turn

The new prison and an exit

“Good point,”He said, bitterly. She moved to her bed and stayed silent. Lexandra watched the TV for hours, not moving. “Lexandra?” Loki asked. Looking over at her. She didn’t move. She stared at the TV. “Lexandra?”Loki asked louder.  She looked up at him.
“What other human foods are there that you can get delivered to us?” Loki questioned. 
    “Chinese, american, Mexican, french food, I mean about anything you’d want from wherever,”Lexandra said, unenthusiastically. “Mexican?”Loki asked. “Sure why not,”Lexandra said. Grabbing the phone. After a couple minutes she hung up the phone and landed on her bed. 
She fell asleep as Loki wrapped the cover around her. He sighed and waited for the delivery guy to arrive. When he did he gave him his money and shut the door back. Loki set the food out on the small table. Laying out Taco’s, Quesadillas, and Tortilla chips.                                                      He walked over to Lexandra and smiled at her. He had grown quite fond of her company.He never seemed to show it and hated to admit it but he would miss her after he left Midgard tomorrow evening. He lightly tapped Lexandra on the shoulder. She didn’t budge. He chuckled and shook her. She started mumbling. “Alright, I’m up,” She stated.He forced his smile down into an annoyed look. “Well get up because the food is on the table,”He said.                                             She slowly got up from bed and made her way to the table. Loki sat down and waited for her to do the same.She eventually did waking up a bit. She stared at the food for a bit. She was hungry but all she could think of was the next day. It made her so uneasy. Why of all people did she have to be the one to have Loki as a patient. She sat up from the table after a minute of staring at the food and walked in the bathroom, slamming the door.                                             She continued to stare off. Thinking of everything that was bothering her. Loki knocked on the door lightly. “What do you want?”Lexandra said, blankly. Loki said nothing. She sighed and opened the door. “Are you not gonna eat?”Loki asked. “Why do you care?”Lexandra said.                                         “Just eat,”Loki said with a sigh. She walked over to the table and sat down. Taking a bite of a Quesadilla. He sat back down and ate. It was completely silent once again. “Why does Shield not know that the Tesseract and Mind stone are at Stark tower?”Lexandra questioned
Loki looked up confused. “Oh, I’m sure Avengers don’t fully trust Shield with Infinity stones, after all they are very powerful,”Loki said. She nodded. Her plans for escaping that night did not change. She slightly smiled as she ate. 
As the day passed she thought out different outcomes. Either Loki caught her, Tony didn’t believe her, or it all worked out well. To some it all up she was scared. She sat on her bed as it turned night. She was getting really tired. So she pretended to yawn. 
Loki laid on his bed staring at the wall, turning away from Lexandra. He decided to let her get slightly far, with her plans then his plan would come in. Lexandra laid staring at the door. She smiled thinking about freedom. “I will tell the Avengers about Thanos, they will surely look into all of it,” Lexandra thought.                        
Lexandra pretended to fall asleep. She laid on the bed for an hour before getting up slowly. “Loki?”She whispered. He didn’t budge. She slowly walked towards the door. As she unlocked the door she watched Loki toss and turn slightly. She jumped as he did so. She looked at the clock and it was about twelve. She hoped Tony would still be awake or even at the tower.
She Slowly opened the door and shut it back. She started to jog away from the room. She smiled and started to run.She got into the parking lot. She would have taken her car if Loki didn’t have the keys in his pocket. She sprinted on the sidewalk. She looked up at the building as tears streamed down her cheeks. 
She ran across the crosswalk when the stop light turned red. She was still a little while until she got to the tower. She felt so free. She saw the tower from where she was. She moved through a group of people. They talked as she went by. She saw she had to go across the road again. “Miss?”Someone said walking towards her. She ran towards the road as a truck honked their horn. 
The truck barely missed her as someone pulled her off the street. “What were you thinking running off in traffic like that,”The same guy that had yelled for her had said. A bunch of people ran over to her. “Are you alright, are you ok?”They questioned as she was pulled out of the crowd. 
She looked at the guy pulling her. He had  brown hair and a blue jacket. She pulled her hand away, as he looked at her. “Come one, I told you I hate this color,”He said, pointing at the jacket.She gasped and tried to run away as he tapped her head. She fainted almost landing on the pavement. Loki quickly caught her and frowned.
“Well that was a close one.” He stated. Walking back towards the hotel throwing Lexandra on his shoulder. When he got back to the hotel room he gently put Lexandra back on the bed. He tapped her head again as she jumped up. Punching and kicking him. He grabbed her and put out his dagger’s. 
“Listen to me very carefully, If you do not do what you are supposed to do tomorrow I’ll kill you in front of everyone, it is very easy for me to get another hostage,”Loki said, in a hush tone. He let out a sinister smile and stared at Lexandra with a terrifying expression. 
She remained quiet. Still as she numbed herself. She gave a smile right back at Loki. He let out a low growl and walked away from her. She landed back on her bed and turned away from him. “You know, this could have gone a lot smoother if you just listened to me,”Loki said, pacing around the room.  “I hate you,”Lexandra spat. 
“What else is new?”Loki said. Lexandra sat up as Loki braced himself standing up. She walked over to him and slapped him. “That’s for my sister you monster,”Lexandra said. Loki felt snap in him as he picked Lexandra up by the wrists and threw her across the room. She landed on the bed with a hard thump. She grunted as she bounced off the floor. 
    Loki jumped at his action and felt panic wash over him but he didn't show it. He walked over to her and stared and she had her face to the wall. “That’s it, that’s all you’ll do?” Lexandra laughed. She had hit her face on the wall hard. Blood ran from her nose as she looked at Loki. He put his hand out and she slapped away, stammering up. “
    She walked over to the bathroom, wiping the blood off her face. Loki held his face in his palms. Remaining quiet “So a lady slaps you because you kidnapped her and then you break her nose?”Lexandra asked, walking out of the bathroom. Loki kept his face in his palms and didn’t speak. “
    She crossed her arms and walked to the front door opening it. She slammed the door. As she felt the cold wind hit her face. She sat down and leaned against the railing.  Loki came running out moments later. “Lexandra!” He shouted, jumping when she was sitting down in front of him. “Oh,” He stated. 
           He sat down beside her. They said nothing for a couple minutes until Lexandra started shivering. Loki stood up and walked in, walking back out with a blanket. He wrapped it around Lexandra and sat back down. 
        “Why?” Lexandra questioned as her voice cracked. He looked up at her. “You seemed cold,”He said. She sighed. “Why threaten me and then be nice to me right after, doesn’t that defeat the purpose,” Lexandra said. 
    Loki said nothing just stared off at the city. Lexandra got up and walked back towards her bed. She laid on her bed staring at the ceiling as Loki walked back in, shutting the door.  She tossed and turned until the sun started coming up, hitting her face. Making her green eyes seem to shimmer in the sun. 
    Loki got up out of bed and looked at Lexandra. He quickly looked away afraid he would start to feel some sort of guilt. Lexandra sat up on her bed and Loki walked towards her. After today they would never see eachother again. So loki sat beside her, he had never really let anyone see his nice side. 
        He patted Lexandra on the shoulder, she looked up at him and looked away. “I don’t know why I did that last night,”Loki said. Lexandra looked at him. “I'm sorry,”He said, getting up, before she could say anything. The day passed by quickly as they got in the car. They said nothing the whole car drive, as they both changed appearances. This time Loki had brown hair with a small beard. Lexandra had blonde hair with brown eyes. 
        They both had construction worker outfits on. Lexandra sighed as they pulled up close to the tower. They got out as Lexandra felt her stomach go in knots. Loki looked at her and slightly smiled. They walked in as Tony was talking to a lady with red hair. She smiled at him looking directly at Lexandra. 
Oh you are early,”She said, walking closer to them.  Loki laughed “Yes well I thought traffic was gonna be bad today,” She nodded. “Pepper?” Tony said motioning her back. They talked for a moment as Tony glanced and Lexandra. Loki and Lexandra started walking towards the elevator. “Wait, you what’s your name?”Tony asked, pointing at Lexandra. 
“My apologies sir this is Susan White and I’m Jason stone,” Loki said with a smile.  “Well I asked her for her name, but thank you,” Tony said.  There was a moment of silence as Tony shewed them off. Loki and Lexandra walked into the elevator. As the doors closed Lexandra let out a sigh. 
Loki looked at her for a moment before snapping his head back as the elevator opened.A lady with red hair walked past them walking into the elevator. She glanced over at Loki for a moment. Lexandra’s eyes widened when she recognised it was Agent Natasha  Romanoff, who had worked at Shield for a while. Lexandra quickly looked down. 
Lexandra used to be friends with her until Amber died, then she shut everything out Natasha walked into the elevator and it shut as she looked over at Loki and Lexandra. The Elevator shut as Loki walked over to the stairway entrance. He opened the door for Lexandra.  “Well have to take the stairs from here,” Loki said. 
Lexandra walked up the stairs. “Why so quiet, no farwell,” Loki said sarcastically. Lexandra rolled her eyes. “May we never see eachother again,”Lexandra said, with a fake smile.  They both transformed back into themselves as they entered a poorly lit room. Loki smiled, finding a switch.
Lexandra looked at him confused as he flipped the switch all the lights shut on. Lexandra’s mouth gaped open as there was a giant spaceship. “Wait, you said we were here for the stones because of Thanos!”Lexandra panicked.  
“I said that but in my defense Thanos is really searching for the stones,” Loki said walking to the ship. Lexandra got in front of Loki. “I trusted you!” She yelled. There were footsteps running up the stairway. Loki pushed her aside. “You never trusted me and if you were stupid enough to actually trust me well then you can’t exactly blame me, it was your mistake,” He said smirking and opening the ships entance.  
Tony bursted through the door in his Iron man outfit and prepared to blast. Loki rolled his eyes grabbing Lexandra as a shield. She elbowed him in the center of his chest. He didn’t budge. “Let go of Ms. Begley Loki!,” Natasha said walking into the room.
