A Dangerous Turn

Revenge is often blind

        “Oh,”Loki said, walking away. “And you blame me?”. Lexandra looked down. “If what you say about Thanos  is true then no,”Lexandra said, clenching on her bed. Loki sighed. “Alright then,” He stated, sitting on the bed beside her. “Are we ever going to eat today?”Lexandra questioned, snapping out of her thoughts.               
       Lexandra picked up the phone. “Have you ever had human food?”She asked looking through takeout places on the hotel pamphlet. Loki scoffed. “No, I would never do it unless it was the only option,”Loki said. “Well is it?”Lexandra asked. “Is it what?” Loki questioned, confused. “Is it your only option, if so i'm getting italian,”She said. “Get whatever, i’m sure it's all terrible,”Loki stated. 
    “Just wait, you’ll at least think it’s okay,”Lexandra said, rolling her eyes. Loki scoffed walking to his bed. “I highly doubt it,” He ignored.  Lexandra and Loki waited for the delivery guy to come around. Loki changed his appearance back to having blonde hair and a blue sweater as there was a knock on the door. Lexandra had ordered a pizza and Lasagna.                                               Loki placed the food on bed and paid. He shut the door and walked over to Lexandra who had already had a piece of pizza. Loki looked at the pizza with a repulsed expression. “It’s not poisoned Loki, just try it,” Lexandra said, chuckling.                 Loki took a bite and rolled his eyes sitting down. “Ok, well it's not too bad,” Loki said. Lexandra smiled. “I told you, you’d like it,”Lexandra beamed. “I didn't say I like it, I said it wasn’t bad,” Loki frowned. Lexandra laughed and turned on the TV. “You know Loki if you're telling the truth about the stones and Thanos, you’re not so bad,”Lexandra paused. “Well besides you kidnapping me, that you did do,”Lexandra said.             “I wouldn’t say I kidnapped you, you drove the car and got you italian food.,” Loki said. She laughed. “So we just have to lay low until Wednesday, then we're off to the Stark tower?”Lexandra questioned. 
           “Yup, then comes getting by Avengers and security which shouldn’t be too hard,” Loki said, confidently. Lexandra stopped eating. “What if they don’t believe me,”Lexandra said, getting a little nervous. “I'm sure they’ll fall for your story, plus I technically did force you out of the building,” Loki said shrugging his shoulders. “You could say I was threatening you,”.                                     Lexandra remained quite watching TV for a moment. “Im mean you did threaten me,”Lexandra said. “When did I do that?” Loki questioned. “Yesterday, you told me if I was to speak about you in a certain way, it would be the last time I ever spoke,”Lexandra stated.                                                 “Well it was a heated argument, I say a lot of things,” Loki said. Lexandra looked at him, believing his story about Thanos a little bit. “It’s getting dark outside, already,” Lexandra said, yawning. She took the empty boxes off her bed. Loki walked back over to his bed, sitting down and looking at Lexandra. “You’re not gonna try to sleep in the washroom again are you?”Loki said, concerned. Lexandra laughed. “No, I Think I’ll sleep on the bed tonight, just no surprises alright?” She asked. “You have my word, Agent Begley,”Loki stated. 
    “Just Lexandra, I think we’re past you being my patient,” Lexandra said, laying down in her bed.  She drifted off, turning away from Loki. Pretending he wasn’t there. When she awoke the TV was on. She turned to see Loki on the edge of the bed. “Oh good you're finally awake,” He said. Not taking his eyes off the TV. She slowly got up out of bed, rubbing her head. “They have reported you missing, they didn’t specify who took you but we have to be careful in the public eye now,” Loki said. 
    “Haven’t we already been careful,”Lexandra said, slowly.  “Yes but the little trick of you running away yesterday, was enough for me to think we need another hotel,” Loki said, Annoyed. “I don’t think anyone noticed me,” Lexandra said. Loki scoffed. “I’m sure the camera’s did,” Loki stated. “Well, yes but by the time anyone reviews the camera’s we will be long gone,” Lexandra stated.  Loki stood up. “I'm sorry are you the one incharge here, get up we’re leaving,” Loki said, dragging Lexandra out of bed. Lexandra’s hair turned back red and Loki’s into blonde. 
    As they did when they first arrived at the hotel. Lexandra huffed and she pulled her arm away. “I can walk on my own, Thank you,” Lexandra spat. Loki pushed Lexandra in the car. As he walked over to the driver’s seat. “Oh so know your an amazing driver because you managed to park my car once,”Lexandra said, annoyed.         “Will you stop bickering for one second,”Loki yelled. Slamming the car door and driving off. She sighed and leaned back. Putting on her seat belt. 
    They drove in silence the entire time. Lexandra cringed as they passed the Stark tower. Some of the building seemed to be under construction. Lexandra thought they would be done fixing the damages of the tower since Tony Stark definitely had the money to get it done quickly.                                         Loki grinned and passed the tower. Lexandra thought maybe could sneak off at night this time and warn Tony about Loki. “Tony has got to believe me, he has probably seen my face on the news today,” Lexandra thought.  Lexandra sighed. “Loki?” Lexandra asked. He looked at her for a moment before looking back at the road. “I’m sorry, I know you're just trying to do the right thing but you have to see where I was coming from yes?” Lexandra said, a little scared he would get worked up again.
    “I suppose,” Loki said stiffly.She smiled at him relieved. “So you believe me about Thanos, about the attack,” Loki said, confused. “Yes, I do,”She said. Trying not to clench her teeth together. Loki nodded. Pulling in another hotel parking lot. “This time just wait here, I’ll be back in a minute,” Loki said, shutting the door and walking to the hotel.  
    She watched as he went in. She sat there, wanting to run out of the car and straight towards the Stark building. She would wait til tonight though. “This might be a test, to see if I would try to leave the car,”Lexandra thought. She smiled as he walked back out a couple minutes later spinning around a room key.                     She got out of the car and followed him to their room for the night. She smiled looking around at their room. There was a small kitchen , two beds, a large bathroom, and a shelf with books neatly placed inside them. She sat down on the bed that was closest to the door. “I’m guessing you like my bed?” He stated, tapping his foot in annoyance. Lexandra huffed and moved to the other bed. She grabbed the remote and flipped through the channels, until her face appeared on the TV. She blanked out staring at the TV as a picture of her sister showed up. 
    “This was the second sister of the Begley family who has gone missing,” She heard the anchor Lady say. She quickly turned off the TV. Lexandra walked into the bathroom and sat down on the floor again. Thinking about what she had to do tomorrow. Those stupid stones she thought, Then she stopped. “Wait, if Shield wanted to know where the stones were, where wouldn't the Avengers just tell Shield that they had them?” Lexandra said.  “I wouldn’t have had to interview Loki in the first place,”She thought. She shook her head. “Does Loki know, what if he wants something else from the Avengers?”She whispered. Of course she didn’t believe the Thanos story, Loki was responsible for it all, he had to be. She walked out of the bathroom. “Ah I thought you were going to take a nap in there,” Loki said. Lexandra wanted to smack him across the face but instead sat beside him and smiled.
    She would try to pretend nice as long as she could to him. They sat on the bed watching TV when a show Lexandra and her sister Amber used to watch. Loki looked at her and switched the channel. “The only time I see that look is when you're thinking of your sister,” Loki said. “What does it matter to you,” Lexandra said, trying to contain her anger.
