A Dangerous Turn

    “Hello?”She said, trying to remain calm. She heard something shuffle. An alien approached. “What?”He spat. “Where is Loki?”She asked, Concerned The guard laughed and walked away. “Wait, hey!”She shouted. Running up to the bar’s as they shocked her. She fell back. “Yeah I wouldn’t touch that if I was you,” Someone from another cell said. 
    “Yeah, I see that now” Lexandra said. She looked down to see she had on weird electrical hand cuffs. “Where are we,” She asked. “Holding cells, Thanos keeps us in this prison usually until he gets what he wants, or just to keep some of our species alive,”They said.
           “Even though he is the one who ends our kind, the ones who do what he says, he calls children and I'm sure you’ve seen some of them if you’re in here,”They added. Lexandra threw a rock and the bars as it shocked them. “Well isn’t that heart warming,” Lexandra said. “Well do you have a name?” They asked
    “I do, it’s Lexandra and you are?” She asked. “I’m Chycill,”She said. “Well how long have you been here Chycill,”Lexandra asked. Chycill let out a let out a sad chuckle. “For six years,”She said.  Lexandra looked down. She sat down on a dirty old bed as dust flew around. “You must have done something really bad for you to still have your cuffs on,”Chycill said. 
    Lexandra looked up at the brick wall. “How did you know I still had my cuffs on?”Lexandra asked. “Oh my apologies,I have an ability to see through solid objects,” Chycill said. “You sound very happy for someone who has been in a cell for six years,”Lexandra said. “Well it’s not my ideal home, but hey I try to look on the brightside,” She stated. 
    “Oh yeah what’s that?”Lexandra smiled. “Free food,” She laughed. Lexandra laughed with her until the guard slammed his hand on both of their cells. “Quiet!” He yelled and started walking away. “Oh I'm sorry, we didn’t mean to interrupt your brooding,”Chycill said. The guard walked back towards her cell. Lexandra walked close to her cell making sure she didn’t touch them. The guard got out the same weapon Loki was shocked with. Before he could do anything Lexandra laughed. “Well I mean come on, she is right,”Lexandra said.
    He snapped his head towards her and turned the weapon at Lexandra instead. He let out a low menacing growl. Chycill mimicked his growl. Lexandra held in a laugh. “What are you so angry about, put your frown upside down,” Lexandra said as he moved 
the shocking weapon near Chycill. Lexandra smiled as Chycill started laughing.  He huffed and walked away. 
    “Darn I was hoping he would have the cell keys,”Chycill said. “Yeah but it was fun to see him do something besides frown,”Lexandra said. “Lexandra, I think this place got a lot more fun when you woke up,”Chycill said. “Well I try my best,”Lexandra chuckled. “So where are you from?”Chycill questioned. “Earth or as some state it I guess Midgard,” She said.
    “What about you?”Lexandra asked. “Brekknis,”Chycill said with a hint of sadness in her voice. “It was a dirty poor planet, we also had a lot of enemies,”She admitted. “I'm sorry about your planet, it’s sick to think someone could actually wipe out an entire race,”Lexandra said. Everything was silent. Until the light’s turned off. “Well I guess we have to finish this conversation in the morning,”Chycill said. 
    Lexandra walked over to her bed. Pressing on it with her foot on it as it squeaked. The bed was barely off the floor she crouched down and slowly tried to get on her bed. She eventually fell on the bed almost falling out, she pulled on her cuffs. “Man these things are gonna take some getting used to,”She whispered.
    She tossed and turned for about an hour. Before she tried to get up. She leaned against the wall and pushed herself up. She wobbled a bit before she was fully up. She walked over to the cell bars, looking out trying to have a clear view of the place. Lexandra looked at the other cells. The place was almost completely full, she strained her eyes trying to see more in the dim lit area. It looked like the building spiraled up and down for more cell mates to come in. She huffed and walked around her small cell. She was determined to get everyone out of these cells. 
    She slid back on her bed this time not falling. She laid still on her back. “I wonder if Loki is doing ok?”She asked out loud. She slowly drifted off to sleep. When she woke up she heard someone walk up to her cell. “Get up, it’s time to eat,” The guard yelled. She groaned “Five more minutes,”She said, swatting at the air. She was then pulled from her cell. She saw there was a line of aliens , she looked at the cell beside her to find no one. 
    She huffed. “She then looked in front of her to see an alien woman with pink skin with a couple of red spots on her skin, She also had pink pointy ears. Her hair was a black fading into blue  on the ends. Her hair was also puffy and put into a long ponytail. Lexandra noticed a symbol burned into her arm as the guards walked over to Lexandra and unlocked her cuffs and took them away. 
    She sighed in relief moving around her hands freely. “You feel Better?”A familiar voice asked. Lexandra’s head shot up looking for where the voice came from. The lady in front of her turned her head and gave a little wave. Her eyes were a bright gold. “Chycill?,"Lexandra asked.  "Hey," Chycill said. They both smiled Chycill's  teeth were very sharp and a slight gold color.
    She quickly turned back around as some guards passed looking at her with a frown. Lexandra seen the same guard from the other night and made a dramatic smiling expression. He quickly looked away rolling his eyes unsure how to react to her behavior. Chycill tried not laughing as she looked back at Lexandra. “Were you always this crazy?”She asked. “Well no but then a guy kidnapped me and I basically lived with him, I also offered him pizza,”Lexandra admitted. 
    “What’s pizza?”She asked. Lexandra gaped open her mouth. “Man space is in dire need of pizza, It's an earth food,” Lexandra said. Chycill smiled turning back towards the front. As the line moved noticed the cells on the other side of the room still had people in them 
    She looked through the cells until she noticed a certain raven hair man. He had his back towards her. She remembered the first time she had seen him. How she wanted to slap and throw chairs at him but now she had grown used to him. She knows now how cruel Thanos is. She huffed as she faced back to the front. 
    Taking a couple steps forward then stopped. There was a green light that flashed in the corner of her eye as she turned her head to see Loki beside her. “I’ve come up with a plan to get us out of here,” Loki whispered. She looked back at his cell to still see him standing with his back facing her. She looked back at the illusion. “If it doesn’t include freeing everyone here, then not interested,”Lexandra said, stubbornly. 
   
    Loki thought for a moment. “Well it can be arranged,”Loki said. Lexandra smiled. Chycill turned around looking at Loki. “Is this the guy you were talking about who kidnapped you,”She asked. “Oh yeah, well at least his illusion of him,”Lexandra said.Loki looked at Chycill for a moment. “So one night in this horrible place and you gain a friend?”Loki asked.
    “It appears so, and I'm guessing you’ve gained some enemies?”Lexandra questioned. “I remained quiet all night,”Loki stated. “Sounds familiar,”Lexandra said. They took a couple of steps forward before stopping again. “Let’s get back to why i’m here,”Loki said. Lexandra nodded. A guard passed as Loki quickly disappeared and Chycill turned around. 
    He looked at Lexandra with a glare then walked away. Loki appeared again and Chycill quickly spun around.Loki leaned closer towards Lexandra and starred the guard a moment. He huffed in aggravation Looking back at Lexandra and Chycill. “Ok so tonight I'll distract the guards in an illusion,”Loki said as he saw a guard approaching. 

    He growled in annoyance and disappeared. As Chycill turned around almost falling down in the process. Lexandra slightly giggled as the guard approached her. “Something funny?” He asked, getting up in her face. Lexandra began to speak when he pulled out the taser like weapon and shocked her in the stomach. She groaned in pain clinched her teeth together as she hit the floor. 
    “Drag her back to her cell,”He said as two guards approached her, pulling her back towards her cell. The guard walked towards Chycill as she looked down. “Now look who’s laughing,”He whispered walking away. Lexandra was thrown in her cell, she hit the concrete floor scraping her elbows a bit. She winced in pain feeling blood start to leak out. She got up and sat on the bed. Loki appeared in her cell. Loki glanced at Lexandra’s scratches and bruises that were all over her. Including the three large scratches on her face. Loki sighed. "I'll make sure you will see more in your life than this cell,"Loki said softly. Lexandra looked up at him  as she held back tears. “Im sorry,”He said. 
    “When I joined Shield all I wanted to do was make my sister safe and make my parents proud,”Lexandra said. “All I wanted was for her to be safe, but all it did was keep me from her when she needed me most,”Lexandra said. Loki sat down beside her. “Some things we cannot stop from happening Lexandra, it wasn’t your fault,”He said.She got up from the short bed and looked at Loki.”There is one thing I can still do for her,”Lexandra said. 
    Loki looked up at her. “To carve out the person's heart who killed her,”Lexandra stated. Loki shot up off the bed. “No Lexandra, that's sucide,”Loki said. “Not if we get the Tesseract, we already have the Mind Stone,”She said. Loki looked down. “Wait they didn’t find it on you right, like you made it disappear for a moment?” Lexandra asked nervously. 
     “It was too late to make an illusion before I was knocked out,” Loki said. Lexandra looked away from him. “Oh,”She said. “Well so what if he has one stone, we could get one of the other’s,” Lexandra said. Loki laughed. “How would we find one of them,”Loki asked. “A little detective work should do it, ask around in search of one,”Lexandra asked.
    “So just walk up to random beings and ask for an Infinity stone?”Loki questioned.
    “Well no not exactly, be careful about the questions we ask,” Lexandra said pausing. “Or there is always the option of trying to take back the Mind Stone,”She said.
    Loki sat up. “I’ll speak to you about this tonight, just be more careful and don’t anger any of the guards,”Loki said. As green light surrounded him and he was gone the next second. Lexandra sighed. Holding onto one of her elbows. She walked over to her bed and let her back hit the mattress. She turned as she fell off the bed. She grunted and laid back on the bed. Turning towards the wall. An hour later a small thud of an apple hitting the cell floor made Lexandra turn around.                         She smiled and picked up the apple. “I’m sorry I didn’t say anything back there to the guard,”Chycill said. Lexandra chuckled. “It’s alright,”She said. Taking a bit out of the apple. “Thanks for sneaking the apple for me,”Lexandra said. “It was the least I could do,”Chycill said. Lexandra smiled laying back on her bed.
    Chycill Looked through the wall as her eyes turned entirely  She smiled as she saw Lexandra tossing the apple around. “I didn’t know what kind of apple you like so I just picked a random one, “Chycill said. “Oh no it's completely fine, I appreciate you getting anything for me at all,”Lexandra laughed. The light’s then turned off as Lexandra hurried and finished her apple. A green light lit up Lexandra’s cell as Loki sat down on her bed again.
    Lexandra smiled and turned towards Loki. “How is your stomach?”Loki asked. “Slightly burns but I'll be alright,”Lexandra said. “So I’ve been thinking about what you said about getting the Mind stone back,”Yeah?”Lexandra questioned. Loki looked up at Lexandra and smirked “I'm in,”He said Lexandra smiled and held out her hand as Loki shook it.
