A Dangerous Turn

Children of Thanos

Lexandra softly chuckled. “I always wanted to be able to help others, also it definitely paid the bills,”Lexandra said smiling. “So when you came into my cell for the first time you wanted to help me?”Loki asked.

“Well more like help Shield,” Lexandra admitted. Loki smiled looking off. “Seriously if I don’t find something to eat on this ship, i'm going to eat my own arm,” Lexanndra joked. “I'm sure you can survive another day, without eating any limbs,”Loki scoffed. “Aren’t you hungry as well?”Lexandra questioned. “Not hungry enough to eat my arm,”He said chuckling. 
    
Lexandra smiled as she looked at a door they hadn’t entered yet. She opened the door. As lights shot on. As she opened the door there was a white long table with white chairs. She looked to see a fridge across from her in the room.She walked over to the fridge, to see tons of sealed up food. She laughed hysterically , clapping her hands. 
   
      “No offence Loki but one more day without food and I probably would have tried to eat you,” Lexandra laughed. Loki rolled his eyes, grabbing an apple and walking out of the room. Lexandra grabbed a bag of beef jerky and sat down with a wide smile. She couldn’t remember the last time she was so excited about food. 
   
She ate half of the bag and sealed it back up throwing it in the fridge. She walked out of the room and shut the door. She started feeling sleepy. “Loki, there wouldn’t happen to be a new york standard time clock here would there?” She asked hearing her voice echo through the halls. No response.  She huffed walking towards the front of the ship. 
           “Loki?”She asked, walking into the control room. She looked around to see Loki wasn’t there.She then jogged into the bedroom. She sighed. Walking out of the room. “Loki this is a big ship where did you go?”She questioned.There was a long moment of silence. Lexandra heard a small thud in the hallway as she rushed out almost slipping. 
            A half eaten apple rolled across the floor. She slowly walked forward, reaching down to see if the apple had an illusion. She picked up the apple, feeling an eerie chill run down her back. She shivered. “Loki, this isn’t funny,”She stated in a hush tone. There was another long pause of silence 
  
  Lexandra started running through the hallways, trying to find Loki. “Where did he go, he couldn't have just left the ship,” Lexandra thought, panicking when she looked through every room again. Lexandra sat down on the floor panting. As she tried calming herself down. 
    Lexandra closed her eyes for a moment then felt a light tap on her shoulder. Her eyes shot open. As Loki sat beside Lexandra with a grin. “Are you alright?” She asked, turning to him. He looked confused. “I thought you hated me, but now you're concerned if I'm alright?” He questioned, teasing. 
   
“Well I didn’t know where you had gone and are you kidding me I said no more surprises,”Lexandra said annoyed. She sighed looking away from him.”So what was that, a test?”She asked. “Yes, you seemed rather concerned for me and I was expecting quite the opposite,”Loki stated.
    “Well I guess we're both full of surprises then,” Lexandra said, standing up. Loki laughed. “Indeed, also the New York time would be about one in the morning," Lexandra yawned. “Well I guess that would explain why i'm tired,”:She said. Lexandra walked towards the bedroom slowly as Loki walked beside her. 
    “You know I never thought I could get along with a mortal,” Loki stated. “Oh I would want to see the human you get along with then because it's surely not me,”Lexandra joked. “Oh come on we have had arguments but you're not that bad,”Loki said. “Well you're pretty bad,”Lexandra said. 
    Loki frowned. “But in a weird good way,”Lexandra laughed. He laughed as well. She walked into the bedroom as he walked towards the control room. “What, not sleepy?” Lexandra asked as Loki looked back at her. “I'll just sleep in the chair again,”He said “Nope, no way come on,” Lexandra said. “Don’t start being like me and sleeping in bathrooms,”She joked. He smiled and walked in the room. 
    Laying on a bed beside her. She switched off the lights and wrapped herself in a blanket. Loki smiled at her and wrapped his blanket around him. A couple hours later a loud crash echoed through the halls. Loki and Lexandra sat up. Loki ran out the bed and grabbed his daggers. “Stay here,”He demanded. Running out of the room towards the noise. 
    Lexandra knelt beside her bed, waiting for something to run in. She saw a person land on the ground in front of the see through door, she jumped back as they were pulled away from the door.Loki busted through the door glass flying everywhere. Lexandra gasped.
    She ran towards him. “Loki!”She shouted as three aliens with large glowing metal suits walked in the room. They had light purple skin with four black eyes. Lexandra leaned back. Holding onto the unconscious Loki and grabbing one of his daggers holding towards the aliens. They looked at Lexandra confused looking at each other. 
They laughed. “We are children of Thanos, speak your business with this worm,”One of them sternly stated. She huffed in annoyance. “We were heading back to his family, I was assigned to make sure he got there and,” Lexandra said, being interrupted. “Silence, that’s all we need to hear from you,”One of them yelled. They walked closer as Lexandra jumped up on her feet swinging the dagger at one of their throats. He dodged it as Lexandra kicked up hitting another in the face knocking them down. 
She was grabbed on the arm as she spinned around jumping on their back breaking their arm. She was thrown off of him as she was scratched across the face with a weapon. She slightly winced in pain hitting the floor. She looked up at the last guard, she looked slightly different with a pinker tone to her skin.She has a large blade with a bunch of ruff edges. 
Blood ran off Lexandra’s face as she tried to catch her breath. She swooped her leg under the guard as she fell. Lexandra looked back at Loki who started to wake. She then picked up the guards blade and ran towards Loki. She slid on her knees as he woke. “Loki!”She shouted, shaking him. He shot up quickly looking at her with shock. “You're hurt,”He said. Looking at the three large scratches across her face. 
            “And you’re awake, so get up,”She said, pulling him up. He looked at the guards on the floor. “They’ll get up soon, we need to leave the ship,”She said. They ran out of the room as something knocked them both down. They hit the wall with a loud thud as the edged sword she had flew through the air, Lexandra felt her head start to feel fuzzy. She slowly got up as Loki helped her up. She looked up at the thing that knocked them down.
    “Oh boy, not it,”Lexandra said. The alien head was up to the ceiling with gray skin and white eyes. It was extremely built with a large blaster in its hands.
  “Oh no, were doing this together,”Loki whispered. It aimed its gun at the two as they both jumped out out the way as it shot a large ball of energy. Loki disappeared as Lexandra growled in annoyance. 
    “Loki?!”She yelled. As it aimed the gun directly at her walking closer. It stopped and laughed dropping the gun, cracking its knuckles walking closer. She stood up bracing herself. As the beast roared stepping backwards.
       Loki appeared on it’s back as he pulled the daggers out of its back. The beast grabbed his cloak and threw him off. The beast walked quickly towards Lexandra as she started running at the beast. She hit the floor sliding under the beast and quickly getting up as she ran through the hall. Making sure it was following her. 
    She opened up a door and ran into the room, she slammed the door as the beast pounded against the door. The lights turned on as she realized she was in the kitchen. She smiled slightly as she ran away from the door quickly  as the monster busted in the room. The three children of thanos walked into the room as well with Loki in chains. She grabbed a kitchen knife and hid it behind her back.
    “Give up little flee,”One of them stated. She braced herself. The female alien held up a weapon against Loki and shocked him. He yelled in pain. She crossed her arms. “You really think shocking him will make me surrender,”She said amused. Loki looked up at her slightly hurt. “He took me away from my home, killed my sister and torcherd me,”Lexandra said. “I'm not on his side,”. 
    They looked at Lexandra with slight surprise . She walked closer towards Loki and kicked him. “I would rather see him burn,”She said, feeling guilty. “Then come with us,” Guard said. She nodded as she swung the blade at the guard. “Wow that was easy, now listen you will help me and the worm off the ship,” She said. “Or what,”He scoffed. She pressed the blade closer against his throat. 
    “Oh but you forget,” The guard said, shocking Loki. Loki growled hiding his pain. “Ok so i'll kill your guy but you’ll just give my guy a little zap,” Lexandra questioned annoyed.  Lexandra rolled her eyes and kicked the other guard down swinging over him and punching the guard holding Loki. She smiled and grabbed Loki's shoulder, dragging him out the door. 
    Loki smirked. “What?” she questioned running as loki unlocked his chain with a slight motion of hand. “You passed another test,” Loki laughed. She stopped running . “What!” She yelled as the guards ran out of the room. “I said you passed the test, I was seeing if you would have left me again or not,”Loki said.
      Throwing daggers out of his hand. They flew through the air stabbing in two of the guards throats. They hit the floor as Lexandra crossed her arms. “You're insane,” She said.  
    “You've not seen insane yet,” He said, running at the giant beast wrapping the chain that was once on his neck on its neck. He pulled back with force and the monsters head snapped.They fell to the ground as Loki walked towards Lexandra, his smile even brighter before covered in blood. 
    Lexandra stared at him. “So you could have killed them anytime, but you just had to test me first?”Lexandra asked. “Yes, Thanos  underestimated me,”He said with a smile. All of a sudden electricity shocked them both. Lexandra fell to the floor as she saw someone approach, her vision cut out. When she woke up she was in a concrete cell.She jumped up in a panic.
