When lunch came around Kim dragged Grayson with her to the lunch line to grab some food, Kim got a salad, chips, and apple juice. Grayson didn't find anything appealing and just grabbed an apple. He followed Kim to a table with all the boys from before. He sat next to Kim and Paul, blushing when Paul rested his arm behind him, on his chair. He ate his apple in silence before noticing Embry staring at him, Grayson blushed and looked away, now looking at Paul, who was also staring. Grayson flushed red and just looked at the table, eating his apple.
Grayson stared at the table for a while before looking at the time. He sighed and stood, "This was a nice lunch but I have to go get my books for my next classes." He walked away and sighed talking to himself, "That was weird."
When he was gone Jared slapped Embry's arm, "Could you be any more obvious?" Embry growled and whispered, "I'm sorry. How long did you stare at Kim before telling her she was your imprint? Besides, Paul was staring too!" Jared narrowed his eyes at Embry before speaking, "Why can't you two be more like Jacob?" He looked at Paul now, "He isn't staring at Grayson like he's water in the desert." He stood up and grabbed Kim's hand to lead her to their next shared class. Kim pulled away and turned towards Paul, "Paul, I almost forgot to tell you. You have English and Biology with him." Paul had a big smile on his face before he nodded, "Thanks, Kim." Kim nodded and followed Jared to the Math class they had with Grayson. Paul turned back to Jacob and Embry and stood while smirking, "It seems that I get to spend more time with him. Later losers." Jacob rolled his eyes and stood to go to his chemistry class. Embry sighed and pulled Quil to get to their history class.
During English Grayson was sat in the back with Paul but was too nervous to say anything so he focused on his work. For Biology Paul didn't have a partner so he offered to be partners with Grayson. Grayson smiled when he sat down. That day they were just studying phases of onion root and discussing it with their partners. Paul took this chance to try and get to know Grayson, "So you're from Greece?" Grayson nodded, "Yeah, a town called Oia." Paul nodded and asked another question, "Why'd you move to La Push, Washington of all places?" Grayson answered while looking at one of the cells, "My grandparents and mother lived here before she moved to Greece with my dad. We came back to live in their old house, we just needed a change." Paul nodded and leaned closer to Grayson, "Do you like anybody here yet? Any of the girls?" Grayson blushed and shook his head, "N-No. I-I. I- I don't find girls- I don't like-." Paul interrupted him and smirked, "Good. Cause I like you." Grayson became even redder and pulled at the collar of his turtleneck, "You don't even know me." Paul smirked again, "Why do you think I'm asking you all these questions?" Grayson made some weird noise and was grateful when the bell rang at that moment.
He gathered his stuff and put his arm at his side like usual, "I-bye Paul." He went to the office to turn in his slip and was informed by the women of something as he leaving, "Oh, honey. Your mother called, she said that you had to walk home today, something about an emergency." Grayson nodded and walked out of the office to find Paul waiting for him, "Tell me how a guy like you was born in Greece and got the name Grayson?" Grayson looked over at Paul and shook his head, "You're not gonna leave me alone are you?" Paul smirked and winked at him, "Not a chance. You're stuck with me forever baby." Grayson blushed at the name and continued walking to the school's entrance, "If you must know it's my middle name. My name is too complicated and my mother even nicknames me." Paul nodded, "What's your full name? I am Paul Jason Lahote." Grayson chuckled, "My name is Heliodoros Grayson Cirillo." Paul stopped in his tracks before catching up with Grayson, "What does your mom call you?" "Helios. Like the Sun Titan of Greek religion." Paul nodded, "Cool."
It was silent until Paul spoke again, "So I couldn't help but overhear that you have to walk home today." Grayson nodded and exited the school, "So what if I do?" Paul smirked, "Why don't you come with us to our friend Sam's house? We always hang out over there and since we're friends now there is no way you won't meet them." Grayson sighed and looked at where all of his new 'friends' were waiting by a truck that was no doubt Paul's. He looked at Paul and smiled, "I think I'm just going to go home today. It was a little overwhelming meeting a bunch of new people already. No offense." Paul smiled and nodded, "No worries."
