Chapter 20

[ CHAPTER TWENTY ]

"Don't do anything stupid while I'm away okay. No funny business and most of all no parties". Dad warned as he looked at all three of us. "Andrew, make sure to pick up Reese and Sky by lunch time tomorrow ". He says.

"Dad, don't you trust me". Andrew whined with a chuckle. "I'll be back by Wednesday and if you need anything call me. I'm leaving Annie in charge". Bidding him goodbye, he gave us all a hug before getting into his car that would take him straight to the airport.

"So what do we do now". I voiced out my opinion as we went into the sitting room and dropped on the couches miserably. Annie grabbed the remote switching the tv on.

"Maybe watch something on Netflix". Annie sat on my left side  as she switched through channels. "The gangs coming over". Andrew announced as he came and sat on my right side which left me inbetween them both.

"How?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Umm through text using a phone". Andrew groan.

"Okay, If the boys are coming over that means Rose is coming too. I'm gonna text her". Annie looked at me squealing. A huge grin broke on my face as Andrew's eyes widened.

"No". He drawled out shaking his head.

"What? Why not?" Raising my eyebrows I glared at him.

"Because I said so".

"That's  not fare". I counter.

"She'll be here in ten". Annie gave him a pointed look.

"Is there something we should know, Andrew". Annie continuous while watching him carefully.

I bit my lip to hold in my chuckles.

"Nothing". He brushed her off as he focused his attention on the tv. Annie nudged me as she motioned me to help her reveal his love for Rose. Nodding in agreement, I trained my eyes on the tv.

"Hey Annie, Rose finally told me who her crush is". I bit my lip. From the corner of my eyes, Andrew went still. "So she told you". Annie giggled out.

"Yeah. Oh Andrew, has Adrian being acting weird lately". I ask glancing at him. He shrugged his shoulders.

"Not really but I can feel there's something he's not telling us". He looks at Annie and I.  "Why, did he do something?"

"Um not really, but Rose kinda has a crush on him. Could you help us set the both of them up when they get here". I begged.

"We really need your help for this to work". Annie added.

A muscle twitched in his jaw when he got up, with all the strength left in me, I begged my face too not sell me out. His expression was priceless.

"I'll see what I can do". With that, he stormed off as his footsteps could be heard from upstairs.  Seconds later, his door slammed loudly as I muffled my laughter with the palm of my mind.

"Did you see that? He's definitely jelouse". Annie laughed.

"Adrian's gonna get a black eye". I held my tummy laughing really hard.
