[ CHAPTER TWENTY TWO ]
My hands trembled nervously as I sat in the passenger seat of Tristan's jeep. To be honest, I don't know where he's taking me on our first date and to say I'm nervous bout it is pretty understandable. Especially if its that person's first time. So yup.
So at around seven in the evening I got picked up by Tris and he had blind folded me saying its and I quote a surprise. If you've picked up in the beginning, surprises aren't my thing at all.
Well I'm gonna stop right there, I'm gonna sit here and enjoy my time and not make a fuss bout it. I have to learn how to appreciate who comes into my life and makes an effort to make me happy.
Yesterday's drama had definitely worked up my inner emotions and feelings. Not only that but I just realised I Angeline Ambrose, likes Tristan Anderson. Not only that, he kissed me for the first time but he did that twice. How crazy right. He's my first kiss.
"Aren't you at least gonna tell me where were going?" I sigh nervously. "Nope". He chuckled.
Folding my hands, I slumped back in my seat staring at nothing but darkness. "Oh com'on don't be like that. Do something aside from that scowl on your face". His hand squeezed my knee as I went stiff.
Poking my tounge at him childishly, I couldn't stop the smile breaking on the edges of my lips as I relaxed while he just chuckled.
A couple of minutes later the jeep came to a stop. "We're here". Tris announced as he disappeared. There was nervousness evident in his voice.
I sat and waited patiently as I heard the door open and I felt his familiar firm hold on me as he guided me out of the jeep.
My good guess would be, were definitely not at a restaurant, movies or anything. Why? Because the place was peacefully quiet. The way I like it.
A relaxing shiver ran down my spine as the night air swept past me in a soothing manner. Nothing but grasshoppers could be faintly detected afar. The sound of crashing waves and smell of salt in the air gave him away. It was right there that I knew immediately where we are.
I couldn't stop my insides from letting all the butterflies free as the grin on my lips widened more.
"Ready". He whispered from behind me as he removed the blind fold for me. I gasped as I took in everything.
It was downright beautiful. Just two feet infront of me was a blanket decorated with blood red flower petals and sat a picnic basket in the centre with comfy looking blankets and small pillows.
The whole place was beautifully set up with different kinds of lights and rope vines curling around the post stands.
Okay, I haven't notice any post stands until now.
"Wow!! This is so warm and beautiful. I love it". I said truthfully looking back at him.
"I'm glad you like it. I got Everyone to help me decorate the place while you were at home. So thank them to". He sent me a mischievous wink while urging me to move forward and sit down.
So that was why I was alone today at home. I wanted to tag alone to go pick up the twins but Andrew stopped me and said it was fine. I should get some rest while he and Annie would go pick them up.
