I bit my lip as I looked out my window at this large castle, which happened to be my new school.
"Come on Hayley." Mymum smiled. "You'll be fine."
I sighed and stayed in my spot. Sherubbed my arm lightly. I looked in the mirror one last time, checking my makeup. My blackeye makeup made my blue eyes pop, and my skin was pale and flawless. My lips were the perfect shade of pink, and my teeth were white and looking pretty good.
"I know,I know. It's hard." My mum sighed. "It'll be okay. I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends."
"I doubt it." I muttered, looking down at my hands.
My mum gave me a little smile and nodded towards the school. I gave her an un-amused look as I grabbed my backpackand slid out of the car. I slammed thedoor and waved goodbye to her. She gave me one last smile before pulling away from the school. I sighed and looked up at the new school. I'm late too, perfect. Apparently... my family wanted to move to England from Canada; so, we did. I had to leave all of my friends and move across the freaking ocean. And now here I am. In front ofmy new school, two hours late, having no idea what to do or say to people. Here's my problem; I can't talk to people. I'm not shy; just people and I don't get along very well. I sighed to myselfand looked down at this stupid uniform I had to wear for this school. My kilt was too freaking short, my blouse was missing the second button, showing off a little of my chest; not my boobs of course. My vest hugged my body tightly, showing my curves. My kneehigh socks weren't pulled up all the way and my dock martin shoes clunked along the side walk. Great, I looked like a bitchy school girl. I was only thirteen, like come on! But I guess there were only the sepreppy uniform schools in England. My blonde curly hair was pulled to one sideof my shoulders; my straightened bangs fell across one of my eyes. I walked through the doors and to the principal's office. A lady sitting at a desk looked up and smiled at me.
"Hello dear." She said in a Scottish accent. "You must be Hayley."
"Mm hm." I gave her a smileback.
"Welcome to the school dear. I'll just give you a time table and I'll be happy to lead you to your first class." Shehanded me a bunch ofpapers.
"Thank you so much." I smiled ather while taking the papers.
"So do you want me to walk you to your class dear?" she asked.
"I'll be alright thanks." I said smoothly.
"If you need anything, just ask." She smiled and waved goodbye.
"Okay. I will." I turned and walked out the door.
My smile dropped as soon as I stepped out ofthe office. Ugh,overly happy secretary. Woo. I looked at my timetable and tried to figure out what class I had first. Um, looked like Mrs. Poppy's Geography class. Mrs. Poppy? Really? Great name. I walked down the halls, trying to find this stupid classroom. After ten minutes,I was standing outside ofthe classroom, trying to calm myselfdown. Okay, I was a little nervous. Actually, screw that. I was really nervous. I was going to stick out like a sore thumb. Fuck my life. I sighed before knocking on the classroom door.
"Come in!" someone called from the classroom.
English accent, again. Of course... I was in England. My Canadian accent didn't make me fitting in any easier. I walked into the classroom, staring forward atthe teacher trying to ignore all of the students staring at me.
