Author's Chapter Notes: Prom Night :) This one's finally alonger chapter, hopeyou enjoy!

-Prom Night-

I heard the doorbell ring from downstairs.

"Mum he's here." I said quickly. "Can you make sure dad doesn't kill him? I'll be fine I just have to put on some lip gloss."

"Alright honey. And can I just say, you look absolutely gorgeous." My mum smiled.

She knew that something had happened between Harry and I to make me upset. Now I guess she's just happy that I'm happy.

"Thank you mum." I blushed as she turned around and started to walk downstairs.

I walked to the mirror and looked at my reflection. I smoothed outmy dress. I had chosen a deep red, strapless dress. It hugged mybody tightly. The bottom had aruffle in the skirt, and it stopped right before my knees. I was wearing my silver heart locket, and somesilver, flat shoes. I still haven't changed the picture in the necklace. I should probably do that when I get back. My face was pale, with some blackeye makeup to bring out my blue eyes and somepink lip gloss. My hair was curly, but mystraight bangs kept falling in front of my eyes as I judged myself in front of the mirror. I quickly took a deep breath and started my way down the stairs. I heard my mum trying to make conversation with Justin while my dad probably gave him the evil eye the entire time. I slowly made myway downstairs, and everyone stopped talking.

"Wow..." I heard Justin breathe.

I bit my lip and continued my waydown the stairs, glancing occasionally at Justin. He looked really good. He was dressed like Harry when I went to see him perform at the wedding...

'STOP!' I hissed atmy mind. 'Harry's gone.'

I heard some snapping from the side, which meant my mum must have been taking pictures. I took my last step towards Justin and smiled at him warmly.

"You look... stunning." Justin said quietly, letting hiseyes slideover mybody.

I blushed while smiling largely. He pulled a corsage from behind hisbackand slid it onto my wrist. The flowers were white which went beautifully with my dress. He bit his lip with a smile as he lightly squeezed my hand.

"Do you have everything Hayley?" my mother asked while hugging me.

"I think so." I responded while checking my purse for the fourth time.

"What time should I have her backby sir?" Justin asked nervously.

"Have her back by two." Myfather said sternly.

"Yes sir." Justin nodded.

I shook my head at my father and pulled Justin outside towards the limo where I saw Emily smiling brightly at me, Aiden's arm wrapped tightly around her waist.

"Have fun!" Mymother called.

"And be careful!" my dad added.

"I will." I called back before pulling Justin into the limousine with me.

He put his arm around me and I leaned into his chest, laughing with all of my friends surrounding me. I saw Emily smiling at me from the other seat. I grinned back and gave her a thumbs up. She and Aiden moved to sit next to Justin and I.

"How is it so far?" I smiled as the boys started joking around.

"Perfect. I love your corsage." Emily gushed.

"Thanks." I smiled while looking at her wrist. "I love yours too."

"So... what's with the locket Hails?" she smirked.
