Chapter 25: Exit Room

Ally’s P.O.V.

After namin mag-isip ng plano sa Room 20, agad-agad din kaming umalis. No time to waste ika nga. Konti na lang and we're out of this hellhole.

Dahan-dahan kong pinihit yung knob ng Door 13 before pushing it open. Una ko silang pina-pasok sa loob. Reixel and Honey were busy assisting Ylique, alalay kung alalay. Pagkapasok namin, tuloy lang sa lakad.

"Ilang rooms pa ba ang kailangan nating daanan?" tanong ni Reixel, still walking forward.

"Mga apat pa siguro. Ylique, can you still manage?" tanong ko sa kanya. Hirap na hirap na syang maglakad dahil sa natamo niyang sugat sa paa.

"Kaya ko pa naman. Ayokong maiwan sa lugar na 'to," she replied, her voice laced with a hint of fear.

We took a turn and headed towards Door 14. Reixel volunteered to open it. Nagtaka ako no'ng bigla syang huminto. Honey also paused in her tracks. Lumapit ako kay Reixel.

"Anong problema, Reix?"

"French," she said.

I looked forward. Nandoon sina Celestria, Cherry and...French? They were also inside Room 14. Akala ko patay na si French?

"Reix. Didn't you say…?"

Hindi ko na natapos yung sasabihin ko no'ng bigla syang tumakbo papunta kay French. Upon reaching her, Reixel hugged her tightly.

I heard her start to sob. Honey and I approached them slowly. Nagulat ako no'ng makita ko ang putol na kamay ni Celestria. 'Di na ako magtataka. Resulta 'to ng punishment nya sa nakaraang stage.

"Okay, okay, I guess enough of that for now, Reix. We need to move," I interrupted their embrace. "Celestria, I'm glad to see you again," I smiled, trying to lighten the mood. I really was happy to see her.

"Me too, Ally," she replied, smiling back. She looked...tired. But she was alive.

"Kumpleto na ba tayo?" tanong ni Ylique. We all looked at each other.

"I think tayo na lang ang natira," Honey said, her voice heavy.

"Saan na tayo pupunta ngayon?" tanong naman ni Cherry.

"I don't know. 'Di ko pa alam kung nasaan ang exit room," Celestria answered, her shoulders slumping a little.

"Ako nang bahala d'yan," singit ko sa kanila habang hinahawakan yung kabila kong braso. It's sending tingles again. It must be close.

"You know where it is?" Tanong ni French, while Reixel supports her.

I nodded at her. "So let's go. Nasasayang ang oras," Celestria said, her voice regaining some of its strength.

"Follow me," I said, taking the lead.

We entered Door 15. Tuloy-tuloy lang kami sa paglalakad, medyo mabagal nga lang. French and Ylique can't walk well because of their injuries. 'Di bale na, ang importante alam na namin kung nasaan ang exit room. In the few hours we've been trapped in this place, so much has happened to us.
