Mullai: Enga, neenga unmaiyilaeyae oru vaaram anga thanguveehala?

Kathir: Enna kelvi ithu?

Mullai: Pleasenga sollunga.

Kathir: Yen thanga mattaenu nenachiteyakum?

Mullai: Illa, Pillayarpatti Parvathya konja neram parthalae ungalukku aahathae. Oru vaaram irukka eppadi thairiyama, yosikkama appakitta serinu soneeha?

Kathir: Athan nee irukeeyae

Mullai: Naana?

Kathir: Nee irukkum pothu enakku enna kavalai? Nee enkoodavae iruntha ellathaiyum samalichuruvaen

Mullai: Yenga appadi?

Kathir: Athellam appidi thaan

*End of Flashback*

It had been over thirty minutes since he had waited in the room for Mullai but she had not appeared. Therefore, Kathir had stepped out of the room to look for Mullai when he noticed that all the lights were off. He could deduce that everyone had gone to bed and so he tiptoed around.

Every minute of searching felt like hours. Finally, he climbed the steps to the rooftop terrace and as expected, he sees a familiar figure.

Imaiadithaalum idhayam valikum

"Mulla"

Kathir whispers to himself and to his surprise, the figure turns. In the moon light, Mullai looks extra beautiful. Stunned by her beauty, Kathir stands rooted with a smile on his face. Meanwhile, Mullai had turned to go down when she noticed a figure that looked like Kathir. Knowing Kathir's nature, she did not expect him to leave the room. Hence, she thought that it was her mind that was playing games with her once again.

Narambuku naduvae nadhigal nagarum
Nadhi irundhaalum naavae ularum

Mullai walks towards the figure and just like how she would do whenever she sees Kathir everywhere, she uses her hand to disrupt the image. But unlike other times when her hand would go right through Kathir's image and he would disappear, this time, her hand landed on Kathir's chest. The moment her hand comes in contact with Kathir's body, Mullai freezes. Seeing Kathir stare at her,

"Athu..." 

Mullai tries to speak but words fail her.

Thapu ellam kadidham aagum
Thavaru ellam punitham aagum

Mullai realises that her hand was still resting on Kathir's chest and attempts to move her hand when Kathir holds on to her hand.

"Inikki nee avalavu azhaga irukkae"

Pachai thanneer vepam aagum
Echil pandam amirdham aagum

Hearing Kathir's husky voice and seeing him slowly move closer to her, Mullai's breathing gets heavy.

Naaku udhadu pesum vaarthai
Mutham aagum

As shyness takes over, Mullai shuts her eyes tightly and her free hand clutches the free end of her saree. For a few minutes, silence fills the air. Realising that nothing had happened, Mullai opens her eyes to see Kathir smiling at her.

Sudum nilavu sudaatha sooriyan
Odum nimisam uraiyum varusam

Mullai blushes.

Kathir: Ippo enna nenacha?

Mullai: Orandai illukureehala?

Kathir: Ey sollu. Nee ippo yen kanna moodina?

Mullai: Athellam solla mudiyathu. Ponga.

Mullai pushes Kathir lightly before attempting to run away but Kathir gets hold of her saree end. Therefore, Mullai is unable to move.

Mazhai thuli namaku samudhiram aagum
Samudhiram ellam thuliyaai pogum

Both their hearts beats faster and their breathing gets heavier. As if cued, cold wind blows and it starts to drizzle. Mullai shivers.

Sathiya kaadhal ennavum seiyum
Chandhira oliyai aadaiyaai neiyum

Seeing Mullai shiver, Kathir uses the end of the saree that he was holding and wraps it around Mullai's shoulders.

"Mazhai perusa varathukulla, keela pogalaam"

Thotta baagam mochamaagum
Mathabaagam kaaichalaagum

He holds Mullai by her shoulder and guides her to the door. He then locks the terrace door before walking down into the house. They quietly move back into their room and Kathir bolts the door.

Deivam theindhu mirugam aagum
Mirugam thoongi deivam aagum

Before he could turn, he feels Mullai crash against his back and hug him. Kathir smiles before caressing her hand.
