It has been a couple days since me and Yusuke joined FairyTail guild I still kept my job as a teacher but my students have had time dealing with Liz's death.

"Ok class who is ready for todays lesson" I asked as I saw no wanting to answer my question. "I know it's hard to accept losing someone but that person wouldn't want you to stop they would want you keep moving forward and live" I tell them as they all look at me before I get tomato threw at my face before seeing a male student stand up.

"Just admit it teach it's your fault Liz died" he said as he walks towards the door. "Jey come back here" another student calls out as he was about to go after him but I stopped him.

"Let him go he's just hurting as we all are so for today I'm going to let you all go home however I will be giving you homework" I tell them as they all leave before a female student walks over to me. "Yes Neko how can I help you" I asked as she hands me a tissue which I accept with a smile.

"Professor you can drop the act now it's ok to show pain" Neko says as I gave her a smile before walking her to the door. "Neko thank you for worrying about me just be careful getting home" I told her as she nods before walking away before I shut the door and walk back over to my desk.

I spent a couple of hours writing up some tests and filling in some reports as I was about to leave for the guild I look over at Liz's seat and shut the door behind me. *I wonder how Yusuke did on his mission with Gray and Juvia* I thought as I soon catch the sent of something familiar and follow it.

As I turned the corner I saw a man dressed in black leather suit with a oni mask concealing his face before seeing 3 of my students 2 on the ground and the other was Neko as the man held her by the neck. "LET HER GO" I shout as I ran at him to deliver a dropkick which caused him to let Neko go as I caught her.

"Neko hey Neko" I aked as I say her eye lids twitch which made me sigh in relief. "Good she's alive and it looks like those 2 are ok as well" I say before blocking a blast of fire.

"This don't concern you move aside" the mystery man said as I set Neko down next to the others. "So you can what kill them these 3 are my students so tell me who you are and why your attacking them" I asked him as he just keeps hitting me with fire.

"Who I am is none of your concern as for why I am attacking them that is simple to send a message that we of the DarkDawn will no longer hide in the shadows" he says as I stand up in the flames and begin to push through them all the time keeping my students safe before I'm hit in the back by a spear made of ice. "Enough the master has called a meeting" a second cloaked in black says as they both begin to walk through a portal.

"This is your warning stay out of our way" he said as they vanish before I pass out. After a couple hours I wake up in the FairyTail infirmary with Yusuke and Erza next to me as I sat up holding my stomach which had be patched up.

"How did I get to the guild" I asked as Yusuke smiled. "Me, Gray and Juvia found you passed out with a ice spear sticking out of you we asked people and they told us everything" Yusuke said as Master Makarov walks over to us.

"How you feeling" Makarov asked as I look at my stomach. "Good thanks master" I tell him which put a smile on his face.

"Master do you know anything about this DarkDawn like a leader or maybe what they are after" I asked as Erza and Yusuke look at him as well. "Afraid not most likely a new dark guild as of late we know nothing why" Makarov told me as I lean back on my bed.

"One of them attacked 3 of my students and said they are a message that reminds me how are they" I asked as Yusuke steps aside and I see them laid in beds recovering from the attack. "They will be fine a little sore but nothing life threatening in other word you saved their lives" Erza told me as I sigh in relief as look at them.

*I need to get stronger so that won't happen to anymore of my student* I thought as I fall asleep to recover some strength all the time trying to figure out why that guy seemed familiar.

To the DarkDawn's hideout

"So you both have returned good did you deliver the message" a shadowy figure said as they kneel before it. "I did master and just as you predicted the target was there should we retrieve him" the mystery man asked as the figure shakes it's head.

"No let him be this was only stage 1 retrieval will come once he's broken and exposed until then continue to serve the DarkDawn well" the figure says. "To serve darkness and shatter the light" they both say as the figure vanished.

"We are one step closer to our goal" the man said as his partner nods before removing their mask. "True but remember we need him alive in order for the ritual to work" his partner said as mystery man removes his mask as well.

"I know and once done the beast king will lead us to victory on the humans revenge will taste good" he said as they walk their separate ways.
