me and Erza arrived at my home which of course Yusuke was not happy about but he still welcomed her in anyway.

"Let me get this straight you got seen by this woman and now she wants answers" Yusuke said as I nod. "I didn't mean to it's just Liz she was..." I cut myself off as Yusuke sighs.

"In any case please miss Scarlet don't tell people about us" Yusuke asked her as she looked at our home. "I only wish to understand why your hiding in the forest I take it you both use take over magic" Erza asked as I shake my head which made her confused.

"You see we are....how shoud I put it...." I keep trying to say but stop trying to think of the best way to describe what we are. "We are beastmen I swear you are always over thinking things little brother" Yusuke said as I rub the back of my neck as Erza looked at us both.

"I see but that still begs the question why do you hide here" Erza asked as I look at Yusuke as I took a deep breath. "Because we are afraid" I tell her as Yusuke just got up and walks out most likely to take a walk in the night air.

"I'm sorry if I offended you and your brother" Erza told me as I shook my head. "Don't be Yusuke just doesn't like to think about the past you see beastmen are hunted being seen as less than human they even killed our families I should know because me and Yusuke are the last of our village" I told her as she looks at the table.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Erza told me as I smile and show her out as Yusuke came back and we sat down to eat. After that we cleaned up and went to sleep but my thoughts just keep me thinking before falling a sleep.

the next day:

It was my day off and I chose to have a walk around town and get supplies. "Wow this place has a lot of shops" I told myself before seeing Liz's funeral and walk over to pay my respects.

"Excuse me but might you be professor [Fn]" a man asked as I nod before shook my hand. "I Liz's father I just want to say thank you for everything you did for my daughter" Liz's dad said as I shake my head.

"I shouldn't be thanked if I had found her sooner your daughter might still be here" I told him as I was about to leave before he placed a hand on my shoulder. "Don't blame yourself my daughter was very quiet and lonely but after taking your classes she changed made friends I couldn't stop her talking about you and your classes she told me to give you this" Liz's father said as he hands me a letter and leave.

I quickly head to my classroom to read it and find out what Liz had to say.

The letter

Dear professor [Fn]

I'm writing this letter to say thanks for helping me out and teaching me all new things about life. To be honest I never really had the grades to take a class like yours but that changed on 7th July 2018 the day you gave a lecture at my school showing that no matter how difficult things are you can always push passed them.

So I studied to improve so I could be just like you becoming a teacher at 15 years old but I failed and thought my chance had slipped me by before you came over to me and gave me a recommendation to take your class I still remember the words you spoke to me. "Don't let one failure get you down think of it as a stepping stone to your future I was watching all the exams even though you didn't pass I saw how you improved which is what I look for in a student with that said I would like to offer you a place in my class" you told me as I asked you why.

"Anyone can pass exams but to me a student who lets their focus be on a single goal has no right to be my student but others who never stop pushing for greater heights that is the kind of students I would be honoured to teach keep that in mind as you walk through life" you told me as I watched you walk away with a smile on your face which made me smile too.

I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to me and how much I'm grateful for the great moments you gave me people might say your weird or even strange but I know the real you. I also wanted to tell you that I saw you behind the school once as you changed from a wolf creature I was scared but I also remembered what you told me and so I chose to keep your secret and maybe some day you would open up to me about it.

As I finished the letter I began to cry and soon found myself looking at my empty classroom with tears in my eyes before getting up and leaving with the letter as it meant a lot to me. "I promise Liz to make your dream a reality" I tell myself while looking up at the clear blue sky as my brother joins me in town and I explain to him about the letter before Erza was standing in front of us again.

"Your [Fn] and Yusuke is there something I can help you with" Erza asked us as we nod at each other. "Please let me and my brother join FairyTail" I asked her as she smiled before showing us to the guild hall where me and Yusuke would soon become FairyTail wizards.
