Break the heart

Yusuke and the other guild members were searching through the forests of Magnolia hoping to find out where Aster took you but no luck.

"Yusuke we have looked for miles and no sign of them" Erza tells him before sitting down on a nearby log with Erza. "This is all my fault if I had only got there sooner maybe I could of stopped him from taking my little brother" Yusuke says as Erza placed a hand on his shoulder.

"We will find him Yusuke" Erza told him as he looks up a the trees. "We are the last ones" Yusuke said as Erza looked at him confused.

"Me and my little brother are the last of the wolf clan" Yusuke tells her. "What happened to the rest of your clan" Erza asked as Yusuke looked her in the eyes.

Past Yusuke P.O.V

I was 10 years old and [Fn] was 7 years old the day our lives got turned upside down.

"Hey Yusuke mom said I should come play with you" [Fn] said to me as I walked over and gave my little brother a hug. "Tell you what lets have a race round the village" I told him as [Fn] smile before we get off running.

"I'm going to win this time Yusuke" [Fn] told me as he ran off ahead with a huge smile on his face until I catch up with him. "Lets make this race the first person to dad" I told him as we head for the village chief house.

As we get there the race ended in a tie before we walk in were our father was talking to another beastman. "Listen to me Jim the humans will attack us and when they do many of this village will be killed" the beastman said as our father noticed us and has us go sit next to him.

"We have been over this Tony if we attack the humans they will attack us back thank you for your concern but my answer is no" Jim said as Tony looked at us before walking away. "Dad will there ever be peace between humans and beastmen" I asked we looked at our father.

"That is hard to answer but as long as we show them beastmen mean no harm everything should be fine" Jim tells us as he began to make us laugh everything was perfect but nothing ever stays perfect for long. That night I woke up to the sound of screaming as flame light up the village only to reveal wizards slaying our people one after another as they make their way to our house.

"BOYS COME WITH ME" our father shouts as we follow him out to the back of the house where our mother was waiting before making a run for the forest only for our mother to fall. "Boy listen to me run to the forest you'll be safe there and know me and your mother love you now run" our father told us as I take [Fn]'s hand and run for the forest not looking back.

"Yusuke will mom and dad be ok" [Fn] asked me as I could barely speak before telling him. "I don't know but I'm sure they will" I lied to him as we soon reach a clearing lit by moon light.

"Who are you and why are you in my domain" a mystery voice said as we look around before a ring of fire surrounds us with green glowing eyes in the flames. "I'm Yusuke [Ln] and this is my little brother [Fn] [Ln] and we only came here because we were escaping from our village" I told the voice as the eyes looked at the sky seeing the smoke before the flames disappear and a dragon with rainbow scales walks out of the shadows and looks at us.

"I see so Jim sent you" the dragon said before picking us up and then takes us away from the area. "You knew our dad" [Fn] asked as the dragon looked ahead.

"Yes when he was your age he walked into my domain by mistake but showed no fear only respect and ever since we have been friends tell me have you ever heard of dragon slayer magic" the dragon asked as we nod. "Good as I'm going to teach you how to use it so consider like your father ok" the dragon told us as we land.

"Ok tell me what magic is" the dragon asked us as we look confused. "We don't know most call it like an extension of ourselves" I told it as it nods.

"That is basic magic is everything and everyone what that means is it's like our life energy my magic is all about the element let me show you" the dragon tells us as we give it some room. "Fire is rage making your attacks burn all within it's path, Water is calm allowing you to flow with your movements, Earth is about defence making you body as tough as stone wall, Air is all about the heart showing your true self such as peace or destruction, finally Lighning shows your quickness in both body and mind once all of these are learned only then will you both be able to call yourselves element dragon slayers" the dragon explained as the element circle around him.

"Please teach us" I asked as the dragon nods before coming to stand next to us. "From now on you both will be my sons you may call me father or by my name Spyro the element dragon" Spyro said as we nod as the training began.

Back to the present day

"And that is how me and my brother started our journey to becoming wizards and the day we lost everything" Yusuke told Erza as she looked down at her hands. "I think Spyro taught you both well" Erza told him as they stand up and head back to the guild to make a report.

To the DarkDawn's hideout

I'm on my knees before Aster walks in with food and sets it down in front of me. "You know what I'm doing is for the good of beastmen and your the final key" Aster tells me as I begin to eat the food he gave me.

"What is your end game Aster" I asked as he smiled before walking away. "In 5 days the ritual can begin and the beastmen will rise to victory" Aster said as I look at the room confused about his plan but it still made me uneasy
