The Rising

In the last chapter Yusuke and the other members of FairyTail failed to stop Aster from claiming the power of the alpha king.

As the guild watched Aster get closer and closer to Magnolia Yusuke wakes up after Wendy treated his wound and inform him about my death. "We need to get back to Magnolia or Aster's plan will succeed" Yusuke said as he began walking towards Magnolia with the guild but Erza stayed behind to watch over my body.

*Why did this happen what could you possible of done to deserve a life of suffering but be kind to everyone* Erza thought as her tears fall on my lifeless cheeks.

Somewhere else

"Where am I" I asked out loud with only an echo to be heard before walking in who knows which direction as I walked I saw a door just ahead. "Weird an empty void and yet a single door well I don't think I'll get answers here" I tell myself as I open the door only to find myself in a forest before walking towards a small hut in the distance with an old man sat in front of a blazing fire.

"Excuse me but can you tell me where I am" I asked as the old man looked deep into the flame and smiled. "You are where you are meant to be" the old man spoke in a riddle as I got confused.

"Sorry but I don't understand" I asked as he gestured for me to sit which I did as he looked at me. "If your wish to be alpha then seek a king" he riddled again but this time I understood I think.

"Alpha king do you know anything about it" I asked him as he looked back at the fire before answering. "I know much and yet I know nothing that is my answer" he riddled me as I got even more confused than before and scratch my head.

"I know much and yet I know nothing that makes no sense" I tell myself before a thought popped into my head. *I know much might mean he has knowledge of how it works but I know nothing might be to keep it hidden from others a secret* I thought before looking at him again.

"A secret that is your answer" I tell him as he nods at my answer. "A king rules but an alpha leads" the old man told me in yet another riddle but it seems easier.

"A king rules but an alpha leads wait do you mean that the alpha king is not just a power but a title" I asked as he nods at my question. "Fail in a kings rage but rise in an alpha's pride" he told me before looking at me.

"I see you are the new holder of this power" he asked me as I was shocked he didn't speak in another riddle. "Did you bring here" I asked as he nods before handing me a bowl of stew.

"I wanted to meet the new alpha king and I can say you are different from others" he told me before tossing some blue powder on the flames as other people appear above the flame. "They showed no sign of the alpha king spirit but you do" he told me as they all disappear.

"Tell me do you want the power to rule all beastman kind and lead them to freedom" he asked as I placed my empty bowl down next to me. "I don't know you see I do agree that beastmen deserve justice for the years of suffering but not if we have to kill all of humanity to get it so I'm sorry but I don't want it" I told him as he thought about my answer.

"Why don't you wish for it just think to control all beastmen against a common enemy" he asked me and I shook my head. "I don't want it because that would mean that the other beastmen still get no freedom it would be my words, my vision and my world and I don't want that for them" I told him before standing up and preparing to leave until he stops me.

"That is the answer a king can't simply rule over others like puppets and an alpha can't lead them blindly and the answer you gave shows that follow me" he told me as I followed him into his hut and sat down. "I have seen many thing while being here and must show you this" he tells me as I see him toss black powder into a flame which showed me a future yet to come.

"Your sure this will happen" I asked never taking my eyes of the sight I could see. "Yes at first it was many but now only this 1 remains a war is coming and you will be needed as will the others" he tells me before tossing a red powder on the flame as a bright blue orb appears.

"Take this save your world and then prepare for the on coming storm" he tells me as the orb floats over to me and begins to sink into my body bursting inside releasing overwhelming amount of magic power. "What is this" I questioned as I follow him outside before he starts to draw a magic circle.

"That was the alpha king's true power what that Aster took was only the raw version but it's just as strong" he told me before completing the magic circle which glowed a bright red as my body glowed completely blue as I go shooting into a vortex in the sky.

*My time as the alpha king is done may you light up the future [Fn] [Ln]" he says before fading away as the vortex disappears as well.
