trepidation.

The days come and go at this present time,
Leaving me wondering what could become mine,
The pressures of time sit upon me,
Barricaded by the anxiety of never living and letting go,
Whether I can go beyond and what I could then know.

Smiles and content can settle in my tummy,
But then the rain cloud starts to overshadow,
What once was a pulchritudinous meadow,
With a littering of flowers and towering trees,
Became a storm brewed by the sea
Taking over me.

And so I mirror the girl that is loved by many,
Despite feeling so distant that I'm sure she starts to become a stranger,
But I can only trust the smiles that grace their faces that she is still lingering,
Growing the hope that the dark clouds will go away,
Sitting themselves right above me,
Where they will stay,

But only for a while,
Even though it feels like eternity,
Bewitched by trepidation,
It will soon pass,
As where there is hope there is life,
And life is worth living.
