"Minu (Mrinmoyee) eat something, don't be like that." Mrinmoyee's mother said worriedly.

"I don't want to ma." Mrinmoyee said without opening her room's door.

********Few hours ago********

That was summer time. Mrinmoyee turned 19. That day she went to college for the submission of her history assignment. History was her favourite subject. Even her major is history.

When she returned home she felt an unusual atmosphere in her house. She saw another four pair of shoes outside the house. She thought some guest may have came to visit, so she entered with the back door through the kitchen.

In the kitchen she greeted her mother with a smile. She peeked in the living room. A boy about 25 years or something was talking with her father. She also saw a girl and a boy with a lady of her mother's age.

She asked, "Who are they ma?"

"You little girl they have came to see you." her mother chuckled.

"Came to see me? But why?" She was confused.

"Aiya...of course to see if you are eligible for their son or not."

Mrinmoyee's eyes widened as she got what her mother said to her. Her expression changed into an annoying one.

"Ma I am still young. I am just 19."

"Yeah yeah I know but one day you have to marry right, so why not now?"

"Ma....seriously you all are annoying. We are living in twenty first century and you are asking me to marry at this age?"

"Oii...keep your voice down otherwise if your grandma hear it she will be mad."

"Let her hear but I don't want to marry now. I want to do a job."

"Ok...enough...now go get ready ....hurry up....you are being ungrateful recently."

"Mina take her and make her dress up." Her mother calls for her cousin sister who have came to her house to spent some days with her elder sister as her final exams were over.

Mrinmoyee have no choice but to do what she said. In her house her grandma is the oldest person so everyone had to listen to her. Her decisions are the final decisions. No one dare to speak a word above her.

In her room Mina put a slight make up on Mrinmoyee's face and said, "Now I get it why you don't use make up. You are just outstanding. I wish I could be as beautiful as you."

"Shut up." Mrinmoyee was feeling irritated.

"What? I am telling you the truth. You should be happy that a marriage proposal have came for you. If I were in your place I would be so happy."

"What...are you serious Mina? This is the time for study, to prove yourself. You are just 16. What are you thinking?" She was totally shocked listening to her sister.

"Well, studying is not my thing actually. I would rather get married than to study for higher courses."

Mrinmoyee was dumbstruck. She was like she don't want to believe Mina's words.

"Are you ready?" Her mother came.

"Yes, aunt she is ready." Mina said with a big smile pasted on her face.

They took Mrinmoyee to the dining hall.

"Hey sis....good luck....don't feel shy." Mina whispered in Mrinmoyee's ear.

After the question and answer session was complete the boy and her family took their leave. The boy's name is Sanjeev.

Mrimoyee was in her rom waiting for the guests to leave. When they leave she came down to the living room. Her father and grandmother was discussing about the boy.

"I don't want to marry." She shouted at the top of her lungs.

Everyone were shocked and looked at her.

"What do you mean by you don't want to marry?" Her grandmother asked her.

"You don't understand human language? I said I don't want to marry. Why are you making my life hell? I just want freedom. I want to study, achieve my dreams. I want to earn for my living. I want to do jobs, but now it seems like you don't want me to. What do you think you are? Just because you are the oldest and the owner of this house, we will do whatever you told us to do? I am saying it final. I DON'T WANT TO MARRY." Warm tears rolled down from her eyes.

"Looks like I have given you too much freedom." Her grandmother said coldly.

"Shyam don't you think you should discipline your daughter more?" Her grandmother said to her father. Her father remained silent.

After a few seconds he said, "Ma I think you should consider again. She is still young and also good in her studies. Don't you think it's to early for her to marry? also the boy is like ten years older than her."

"Oh now you want me to reconsider my decisions...Huh? Let me tell you she will marry that boy and it's final. I don't want any kind of fuss again. You understand....you better understand."

Her grandmother shouted leaving everyone shivering all over.

Mrinmoyee went to her room and shut the door with a loud thud.

************

"Anurag, Anubhav you two go to her and make her eat." her mother told her two elder brothers to convince their sister to eat something.

They silently entered her room as they have a spare key to her room. They saw her lying on the bed like a shape of a fetus and crying.

They both gave a tight hug to their beloved sister.

"Brother I don't want to marry." She said.

"We know...but you have to eat something right or how can you fight that old woman." Her eldest brother chuckled.

"She is really a crazy old woman."

"Let me feed you don't think of that now. Eat something or you will fall sick."

Mrinmoyee nodded and eat her food.

Though Anurag and Anubhav made her eat but they do know that they can't stop her marriage even if they want to.
