Chapter 7

Tomika

I start singing an original called "Little do you know" (I know it's not an original, but pretend it is, the song is above). Just then, the door opens and I see Zack. Crap. I decide to run away before anything happens.

Zack

I'm just walking down the halls when I hear an angelic voice. I follow the sound to the music room. I go in and the person runs off. I called for them to come back. 

Z: Wait up!

The person just runs out of the school. I decide to go tell Freddy and Summer.

Z: Hey guys!

F&S: *Making out

Z: GUYS!!

F&S: What?

Z: You know how we need a lead singer for the band?

F: Yeah?

Z: I hear this person, her voice was amazing!

S: Who was it?

Z: I didn't get to see their face.

S: We need a new singer though. We need to find them!

F: Babe, relax, we'll find a lead singer.

S: Why is Tomika writing in her notebook? We don't have tests or even homework.

F: I don't know, come on, let's go. 

Z: Sure.

Tomika

Zack heard me. I need some time. I was just sitting on the park bench writing a new song and thinking of ideas for the music video when someone sat beside me. It was Babe.

B: Hey, aren't you supposed to be in school?

T: I ditched.

B: Why?

T: Zack heard me when I was singing.

B: Ouch. Do you want me here or do you need some alone time?

T: You can stay here if you want.

B: Kay.

She lays her head on my shoulder, and I put my arm around her. She gets like this because we are very close and we act like best friends, almost sisters. I get the feeling that someone's watching us. I think Babe felt it, because she sits up and looks around before leaning on my shoulder again. I look behind me and see someone running the opposite direction of us. Who was that?

B: You good?

T: I saw someone running away. I think they were watching us.

B: Why though?

T: Probably because your one of the owners of Game Shakers, and they probably think some random person in a mask is putting her arm around you.

B: Ehh. I gotta get back to work. You coming?

T: Gimme a second.

I then tell her to film me in a few scenic areas, without seeing my face of course.

T: Let's go.

B: Why did I have to do that?

T: You'll see.

I then go sit down on the couch. I take a laptop and start to edit the music video. After, I got a USB and put the video on it. I also sent the file to Kenzie if anything went wrong. I then go give the USB to Babe.

T: Here.

B: What is it?

T: The music video.

We then watch it and once I have everyone's approval, I give everyone a seperate USB with the song. 

T: Now you can all listen to the song.

H: What's the song name?

T: See you again. It's about... *Sigh my parents.

B: Ouch.

T: I'm gonna go to my room.

I then go to my room in the Game Shakers building. I then start playing "Little do you Know" again. When I was done, Babe was in the doorway. She puts her arm around me and I just lay my head on her shoulder. She's one of the only people I can depend on to always be there for me. We stay in that position and talk until we both start getting tired. We decide to sleep together. At night, Babe shoots up and starts crying. 

T: What's wrong?

B: Please don't leave me. I love you. I can't let you go. Please.

T: Shhh, it's just a nightmare. I'll always be here for you. Come here.

She lays her head on my chest and snuggles into me. I cuddle her until she falls asleep. I wonder what that was about.
