"Morning Caroline" you yell to your step sister.

"Morning Y/N" she responds.

"I'm heading out in an hour" you tell her as she sits down.

"You better be a good little hybrid" she tells you ruffling your hair.

"I'm always good" you pout at Caroline.

"Okay but where prey tale are you going" she asked.

"Just to meet up with Damon" you smirk.

"Aren't you and Damon together" she says doing air quotes at the end.

"Funny" you say sarcastically slapping her shoulder.

You head out and make the short five minute walk to Damon's house.

You knock on the door and Damon opens the door.

He leans forward and kisses your cheek swiftly.

"Hey Y/N how are you ?" He asks.

"Great I barely escaped Caroline this morning" you joke walking in as he shuts the door.

"Does she just sit in the room waiting for you to get up" he laughs.

"I swear she must do" you laugh in response.

Stefan walks into join the two of you and asks "Do you want a coke ?".

"Yeah thanks" you tell him as he leaves to grab one.

Damon wraps his arm around your shoulders and you nuzzle your head into his neck.

Someone hands you a can of coke and you gladly take it.

The can fizzes as you open it and take a swig from the can.

He runs his hand through your hair and asks "How is being the alpha of a pack going ?"

"The pack is taking to me well" you responded.

"How couldn't they your perfect ?" He smirks.

"No one is perfect D" you sigh in response.

He nods as we both hear a knock at the door.

We both us our vamp speed to the door.

I open it and stood behind the door is Katherine Pierce.

"Hey Katherine" you say sarcastically.

"Hi what's your name oh sorry Y/N" she says smirking.

"Get gone Katherine" you spit at her.

"How rude aren't you going to invite me in ?" She asks.

When you don't move she shoves you away before stauntering inside.

You regain your posture and sit beside her the couch.

She smiles and purrs "Great to see you Damon, Stefan".

You scoff at her and she kicks you digging her heel in.

She notices your wincing and kicks the other leg aswell.

"To even them out" she whispers viciously.

After a few uncomfortable hours Katherine finally decided to leave.

You let out a breath you hadn't realized you had been holding.

Damon took your hand after he knew Katherine was going gone.

"Excellent baby" he smiles kissing you short and sweetly.

"I thought she might jump on you" you laugh.

"Hey it's you and me baby forever" he smiled softly.

"Yeah you and me always" you smile leaning your head on his shoulder.

He smiles and caresses your cheek soothingly.

The two of you walk up to his room and you text Caroline.

If you forgot to text her she would literally call every emergency service ever created.

She responded with love you see you tomorrow.

You put your phone on your bedside table and switch the lamp off.

He moves to become the big spoon as your the little spoon.

You nuzzle your head further into his neck.

He smiles and you both fall asleep in each others arms.

Damon was still in bed you had been up for a full a hour.

You sit sipping your coffee when Stefan tiredly walks into the kitchen.

"Morning" he grumbles making you shake your head smiling.

You walk back into the room and punch Damon's shoulder playfully.

He groans and says "I am not waking up".

"Damon please" you beg him and lean down pouting at him.

He moans but sits up and says "Fine but we are going out for a drink".

You both vamp into the woods and find a group of hunters.

He nods to you and points to fingers at them.

You break everyone of their necks and seen as their are 12 of them you half the meal.

After your both done, you each wipe your mouths clean of blood and have a nice walk through the woods.

In the forest you decide to have a break and have a nice day together like a normal ish couple.
