"Hey Jo" you call out rushing through the crowded halls to get to Josie.

"Hey babe" she says when you catch up to her.

You interwined your fingers with hers and walk her to your dorm.

"Can I come in ?" She asked sheepishly as she walked in.

"Josie you don't have to ask just come in" you smile.

"Y/N I need to break up with you" Josie said making you frown.

"Why Josie ?" You ask.

"Because we don't even have time together" she said.

"That's because your life revolves around your sister" you say raising your voice.

"I'm sorry for caring about her more than I care about you" she said immediately regretting her words.

"Get out" you shout.

"Y/N I" she says as you cut her off.

"I said out" you tell her slamming the door shut after she leaves.

You slid down against the wall and cry until there is a knock that stops you.

Hope pushes the door open and immediately notices you.

She wraps her arms around you as you cry into her neck.

"What's wrong ? She asked rubbing your back.

"Me and Josie broke up" you say pulling away and wiping your tears.

"I'm going to kill that Saltzman" Hope growls.

"No Hope" you sigh looking at her.

"Fine I probably I won't" she says.

"You definitely won't because I get why she did" you say sadly.

"How do you get why ?" Hope asked puzzled.

"Because she will always chose Lizzie over me. It stings but that is the way it will always be. If I forgive her she'll just choose Lizzie again. I get that but I can't be her friend it hurts too much. I just need to take my mind off of her and focus on me" you tell her sitting down on the bed.

In the twins dorm ...

Josie had been crying for hours until Lizzie burst through the door.

"I heard that you and Y/N had an argument and broke up is that true" Lizzie asked holding her twin.

"Yeah we broke up" she cried into Lizzie's shoulder.

"What happened Jo ?" She asked.

"I realised that our relationship wasn't working so I broke it off" Josie lied.

Lizzie gave Josie a questioning glance before saying "You don't have to tell me more just forget about her".

The twins had a girls night and so did you and Hope.

The following week ...

You had met Rafael and the two of you had had a steamy night.

The following morning you woke up cuddled up to a body.

You knew it was Rafael but as he felt you stir he woke up.

"Morning Y/N" he yawned tiredly.

"Morning Raf" you say back.

"I feel bad for sleeping with you" Rafael said.

"Why ?" You ask.

"I feel like I took advantage of your break up" he says.

"You didn't Raf but can we keep last night hidden" you ask him.

He nods as you get to and dressed he says "I get it".

You left his room and walked back to yours but little did you know that Lizzie had caught you.

Later that day ...

You sat down with Hope at lunch and she asked "Did you and Raf sleep together ?".

You choke on your drink and ask "What why do you think that ?".

"Lizzie said she caught you sneaking out of his room this morning and I think she told Josie" Hope replied.

"Fuck" you cuss, that morning your instincts had told you that someone was watching you.

"So" Hope asked curiously.

"Yes I did but it was sympathetic sex not sex sex" you tell Hope.

"I'm not going to judge you but do you still love Josie" Hope questioned.

"Yeah I guess I do I better go talk to her" you said getting up.

You knock on the twins door and Lizzie opens it.

"Josie the bitch is here" Lizzie called.

"Liz can you give us some space" Josie asked from beyond the door.

Lizzie walks past you purposely hitting you with her shoulder.

You walk in and Josie says "Hey".

"Hey are you mad at me" you ask scratching your neck.

"Why would I be you just slept with my crush ?" She snapped.

"Jo let me explain" you say talking her hand.

"You have 1 minute" she snaps again.

"Josie I had sympathy sex with Rafael I don't even like him. Josie I still love you. All I could think about was you and I was having sex with someone else. Isn't that telling you something" you finish.

"I love you too but I can't" she says moving your hand away.

"I know that Lizzie will always come before me but can we atleast be friends" you ask.

"She's my responsibility but we can try" she said hugging you.

"She's not your responsibility" you tell her as she nods.

You smile at her and walk back to your room.

Two weeks later ...

Josie and Penelope had gotten back together.

Lizzie still hated you because she didn't believe your words.

Penelope say down next of you and sighed.

"What is it Peez ?" You ask raising an eyebrow.

"How did you know something was up ?" She asked.

"Your slouching and your overdramatic sigh" you smirk.

"Okay yeah somethings up" she sighs.

"Go in you can tell me anything" you console her.

"It's about Josie" the mention of her name makes you tense up.

"Let me guess she keeps choosing Lizzie over you" you ask turning to face her fully.

"How do you know that ?" She asked.

"That's what happened to us" you respond.

"She kept choosing her twin and you snapped" she responds.

"Don't make my mistake Peez" you tell her sternly.

"I wouldn't dream of it" she says getting up.

Josie Saltzman wasn't your girlfriend anymore but you were glad that she had someone to make her happy.
