"Hayley, Rebekah" you call out into the compound.
They both rush down recognizing that you were out of breath.
"Have you been out on a run ?" Rebekah asked pointing to your sweat covered shirt.
"Yeah I was but then this guy asked me to go on a date with him" you smile.
"Who ?" Hayley asked.
"I think his name was David" you lie tell them what he told you.
"Well get changed and go to your date" Hayley said as Rebekah dragged you upstairs.
When Rebekah was done you didn't even recognise yourself.
She smiles as she admires her work before letting you leave.
You arrive at the restaurant and spot your date.
He pulls your chair out and helps you to tuck it back under.
"Hey Y/N you look stunning" Tristan says.
"You look handsome Tristan" you smile at him.
"You didn't tell them that I was your date did you" he asked nervously.
"No they think your some dude named David" you laugh.
"Is that the first name that came to your mind ?" He asked fighting back his laughter.
"Unfortunately yes it was" you respond making you both laugh.
"So what has Rebekah told you about me ?" He grimaces.
"She says that your devil in disguise and that you've come to send her family to hell" you respond.
"Well that isn't true at all" he pouts at you.
"I know that silly" you laugh playfully slapping his arm.
After a few seconds of silence he speaks "I wonder how far the darkness in each of us goes".
"As far as we let it" you respond.
"What do you mean ?" He asked eyebrow raised.
"We can let love consume us but deep down we are all just trying to survive in this cruel world" you respond as your meals arrive.
You both eat and finish your drinks before you get into your car and drive away.
