I didn't bother unpacking my weeks worth of belongings in the hotel room. We were only going to be here for a week and who wants the trouble of having to unpack and within a week pack again.
It was already 11:30pm all I had time to do was freshen up, change into more comfortable clothes and hit the sheets.
I woke up at 6am completely energized, old habits die hard I guess.
I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and did a few morning exercises in the room.
I ran my self a warm bath and added bubbles and lavender. I peeled the clothes off my body and stepped into the bath, my body instantly relaxing in the warm water.
I didn't realize how long I was in there until I started to prune. I stepped out of the bath, drain the water and pulled out a fluffy blue towel. I dried my skin and hair and pulled it into a bun after moisturizing it.
I opened my suitcase and began to search for something suitable to wear for today.
I put on a black lace bra and a matching thong and the outfit I had laid out on my bed.
To match the outfit I put in some silver hoop earrings and a black choker, a charm dad brought me and ruby ring in my ring finger.I took my hair down from its bun, as I planned it had a thick curly look but I decided to straighten it and pull it into a high ponytail instead.
W
hen I was finished I wrote a little note on a sticky pad telling KJ I would be out for the day and left it on the fridge in the kitchen.
I put my phone, key card, some cash and my black card in my purse and got a quick breakfast at the hotel's dining hall.
The valet brought around one of the cars we rented for the trip.
It was about 10:25am when I pulled away from the hotel and thought why not go shopping for a dress for tonight.
The town was the same as I left it a few years ago yet it felt foreign. There were a few new stores and restaurants but it was still the same old town I grew up in.
The mall didn't change either. I pulled into a empty parking space after driving around the crowded parking lot for a while. It was still early in the day but for some reason the place was already crowded.
I got my bag and switched on the alarm before locking the car. I walked around the third floor of the mall looking for anything that caught my eyes.
My attention was temporarily pulled away from you search, a little girl was seated alone on a bench crying. I pushed through the sea of people and set next to her.
"What's the matter love?" I asked in a soft tone .
"Nothing, I'm fine" she said trying to hide the tears by wiping her face.
"It's obvious your not okay, what's wrong" I tried again.
She wiped her tears again and looked up at me "You-your Justina Mezahav, the model" her eyes widen "And just when I thought I was having a bad day"
I smile at her and offered a hand "Let's go to the food court, it less crowded and quiet"
She took my hand and followed me down to the first floor where to food court was located.
"What would you like to eat?" I asked as I scan the menu myself.
"Umm....a chocolate milkshake and a salad" she answered.
"I'll have the same with a slice of cheese cake" I told the waiter and handed back the menu.
"So, you can start with your name" I turned back to the girl.
"I'm Lexie, I'm 16......"
"And how did you end up here by yourself" I asked cutting her off.
"My family was invited to some party tonight and I needed a new dress to wear. Mom and dad couldn't take me because they were going to some meeting so my older brother, Jackson decided to take me since he didn't have much work to do today anyways. We were in this store on the third flood looking through some dresses, he got an important phone call and stepped outside to answer it. After a while I noticed he didn't come back so I stepped out to look for him and got lost. I'm not from around here and my phone died. So that's the mess I'm in right now" she concluded.
"So how about you use my phone to call him?" I suggested.
"Okay I'll call but you'll talk to him, he's probably pissed and I don't want to hear him throw a tantrum" she said grabbing a hold of my phone.
She dialed his number, press the call icon and handed the phone back to me. Someone picked up after the third ring.
"Hello-"
"I don't fucking care who this is right now, I don't want to talk to you!" He practically yelled into the phone. I walked over to Lexie who had just finish her milkshake
"How'd it go?" She asked.
"Well I think it'd be better if I just drop you at your place, love" I gave her a shaky, yet successful smile.
