"Where do you live?" He finally asked. "Ummm.....I'll guide you.......turn left here" I said in a monotone voice.

The rest of the drive was quiet with the exception of me giving me direction a to my house. I would catch him staring at me from the corner of his eye every now and again and I became uncomfortable and started to play with the ends of my hair once more.

We pulled up in front of my house and the guy turned to face me. "You sure this is your house?"

"Yeah why wouldn't it be?" I asked. "First of all, working as a waitress doesn't bring you that much and second of all, I live right next door" he said.

"Who said I was a waitress?" I asked raising a brow. "I figured that much out of observation" he said.

"Well I'm not a waitress, I own the place and I've owned this house for years" I commented angrily stepping out. How could he make assumptions when he hasn't even known my name. "Thanks for the ride" I rushed up my drive way.

"I'm Cameron by the way!" He shouted after me. "Tina" I answered before slamming my front door shut.

I walked into the kitchen and searched the pantry and fridge for something suitable to eat. I chose some leftover spaghetti since I was tired and couldn't be bothered to cook. The house seemed extra quiet and for some reason it bothered me, so I made a mental note to stop by the local pet store on the way from grocery shopping this weekend.

While I was checking out some new kitchen ware for the cafe I got a call on my business phone. It was an order for a birthday cake. I quickly jotted down the details for the cake and the address it would be delivered to in the next two days. I sighed. It was the third cake order today. I really need more employees.

I ran my hands through my hair and sighed heavily. I got up and had a quick shower and threw on my sleepwear before heading to bed.

I stared at the world's cutest puppy. I've been looking around for a pet and I can't seem to past this one. Is it even legal for something so adorable to exist.

I scratched behind her ear and she wagged her tail. "What's her name?" I asked the lady behind me. "Oh, her name's Aries. She's the last of her litter" she smiled politely at me.

I stepped back from the pen she was in and turned to look at some other puppies. She began to whimper and laid he head on her front paws, her head bowed low and her ears drooping.  It broke my heart. I picked her up and scratched her tummy causing her to yip with her tongue sticking out the side of her mouth "I'll take her" I said to the lady.

I signed the papers to adopt her and went shopping for her. I brought her a cute lavender collar with her name on it and a matching bowl, I also got her same puppy chow, a brush, a cute doggy bed, some toys, a blanket and some other stuff. She seemed quite happy with her new home and sat on the floor by the island while I unpacked the groceries in the pantry. I did have some people come in and install a doggy door in ever door in the house except the bathrooms.

After all that I took her to get groomed and also do my nails since it's been a while since I last did them.

That night Aries and I were eating dinner and watching TV when I heard my doorbell ring. I sigh and placed Aries on the sofa before checking to see who it was. Not many people knew where I lived so it's quite surprising to hear the doorbell ring.

"Hi" a cheerful lady said when I opened the door. She seemed quite familiar but I couldn't put a name to the face. "Hi" i said raising a brow at her. "Oh...Um, I live next door and just thought it'd be nice to come by and say hi" she said.

This girl seemed quite jumpy and excited, two things that didn't set quite well with me sometimes. I smiled politely and invited her in out of the cold.

She came into the kitchen and placed a plate of chocolate chip cookies on the island. "So when did you move in?" She asked.

"I've owned this house for a while. I lived here a while back but moved away for a bit and now I'm here again" I explained.

"Well then I guess the true question is when did I lmove in?" She and I chuckled at her statement.

"So what's you name, I always forget to asked that first" she laughed nervously. "Justina, but you could just call me Tina" I said.

"And you?" I asked "Lexi Thompson" she smiled.

"Ooohhhh" I said. "What?" She asked looking around panicking. "Now I know why you look so familiar" I smirked. "You have a twin don't you?" I asked. "Yeeeesssss" she answered probably thinking I'm some kind of stalker. "You moved here in you last year of high school, we had the same homeroom" ok smiled softly.

Aries came into the kitchen and pawed at my ankle and whined. I sighed an lifted her up and scratched her tummy. She hadn't been with me for a whole day yet and she was already spoiled rotten. Lexi and I ended up spending all evening eating, talking and watching 'love and hip-hop' on VH1.

If it wasn't for Cameron calling her home she would've probably spent the rest of her life here. We totally hit it off as friends and Aries fell inlove with her, it almost seen that she loved Lexi more than she loved me. Lexi promised to come by the cafe some time and quickly left when she heard Cameron banging on my door.
