Everythings gonna be fine looking at the barrier which splits us from the other teens I notice one boy standing there making fun of us. Bonzo goes towards him and bashes his hands on the fence to say hi? Or try to hug him, he yelps and steps away. I laugh at him which earns me a glare from him and his trio I stick my tongue out at them and turn back to Bonzo who just got grabbed by a security guard.
"Do we need to take a trip down town" she says coldly Zed interrupts quickly
"No officer we're all good"
Bonzo offers her a hug which I quickly grab his shoulder
"I don't think she's a hugger Bonzo" I say quieter than I wanted to... She is rather intimidating and I don't wanna get on her bad side...

Addisons pov

"Can't let those monsters change this town cuz, ew" Bucky say to me
"But they're just going to school like us" I intergect
"Like us? People love me ok? I got jazz hands those freaks are nothing like us, they tried to eat our grand father"
"It was just a small... Bite?" bucky roles his eyes at me changing the subject
"Cheer tryouts today after school everybody! Let's go mighty shrimp!"
"Yay! Go bottom feeders! Wait y'know cause shrimp they eat the waste of the ocean" a girl with dark hair and glasses says loosing confidence at the end "Whoo go Seabrook! Hi I'm bree and I've always dreamed of being on the cheer squad cause I really wanna be a flyer tossed high in the sky"
"Nice to meet you I'm Addison and I Love cheer too did you know that the creator of the wave was from Seabrook!" I say her joining in at the end

The officer opens the door
"Okay let's go" she says sounding kinda harsh I move next to Bonzo looking up at zed while he talks (You're as tall as Eliza)
"C'mon you guys we're in a real school, no more classes in a dingy basement"

"You were saying" Eliza says to zed clearly annoyed
"And here I thought things were changing..." I mumble slightly not happy with this outcome
"I'm principal Lee... We are thrilled to be forced to have... You here. Do Not leave the basement.. Have a great year" a woman in a pale pink outfit says
"Principal Lee? I was just wondering how do I try out for the football team?"
"Or the computer coding club?"
"and... Uh theatre?"
"Grusique"
"right music classes, Bonzos an artist he's classicly trained"
Bonzo plays a small short tune and sings a really high note kinda like opera
"Okay zip it... Let me ask you this do any of these include leaving the basement?"
"Well yeah I guess" Zed answers
"then I guess ya don't so no tryouts for you I'm sorry I don't mean it have a great day that's just an expression. Excuse me"
"She's mean" I say quietly
"Okay... Let's do some grammar or something" the 'teacher' says
"This is supposed to be chemistry" Eliza interrupts
"Listen forty five minutes ago I was a janitor kid so bare with me..." he says
Zed trys to be sneaky and leave but I follow him he didn't notice at first and we reach a corridor
"What are you doing?" I say to him making him trip over something
"on my way to football tryouts"
"Isn't that dangerous? What if you get caught? Zed are you sure that's a smart idea?" I say walking next to the slightly limping idiot I call my cousin just then a girl shows up and starts screaming
"Rouge zombies!" and runs off
"Wha? Wait what?"
"Zed! What do we do?! I wish I didn't follow you know..."
Then the football team show up dashing towards us as me and Zed leg it we run till we came across a safe room? We quickly hide inside the door opens again as the room seems to secure itself? I'm so gonna kill Zed later
"Hello?" a voice asks I stay silent
"Hello?" Zed answer I whack his arm telling him to shut it
"Hello???"

"Don't get any ideas buster the only thing more deadly than my high kick is my low kick"
"I'm sorry this just isn't how we expected our first day at a new school to go"

"Cause todays a big day I'm trying out for the football team" zed says

"We'll yeah but I love it my parents have had me in cheer camp since forever"

The lights turn on and she screams
"Zombie!" Bamn right in the nose I can't help but laugh as she immediately starts apologising she then goes on about what her parents told her

"My parents have always hated zombies since one bit my grandpa's ear off"

"Right I'm going back to the basement..." I say walking out the door and back the way I came.... To be confronted almost immediately by Eliza "What were you thinking?!" she says a little louder than a normal conversation
"I followed Zed..." I said I feel like an idiot right now... Eliza just sighs and hugs me, which I really didn't expect
"He's an idiot..." I heard her mumble slightly which made me giggle quietly
"I agree..." I say as we wait for Zed when he does show up it seems like someone wasn't allowed on the team... Poor thing, I'm still kinda annoyed at him but he loves football as we walk out Eliza starts talking

I stop listening after that just thinking

Those cheerleaders earlier seem to be very anti zombie

Then we see some graffiti on the wall saying 'NO ZOMBIES!!' wow this school sure does love us

Welp today Sucked except for maybe seeing Addison punch Zed or getting hugged by Eliza which is very rare!!

God I've fallen into a hole I may never get out of...
